We absolutely loved this place and it set the bar high for the rest of our trip! A little oasis in Sigiriya, with very comfortable and clean rooms, amazing staff and breakfast. From the moment you arrive everyone makes you feel welcomed, friendly and with excellent service. Breakfast, the best we had in Sri Lanka, a mix of continental with a platter of local dishes that gets changed everyday and the team takes time to explain every dish and how you eat it. The driver, Dammika, you are the best! He took us around for 2 days, helped us organise our days. So enthusiastic and going above and beyond to make us try tea, corn and spotting wild elephants by the road! The hotel is a short drive from main attractions (you normally don’t walk anywhere in this town)

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant and different every morning of our 3 night stay. The manager assisted us with all tours and a safari and arranged all transport for good prices. Room and private plunge pool were fantastic. Best accommodation we stayed at in three weeks in Sri Lanka! Thanks to all staff for making our stay brilliant.

The property was so beautiful. It was a peaceful oasis. The pool area was stunning and generally very quiet. Our room was absolutely perfect, very comfortable beds and lots of space. The food was amazing, we didn’t have a bad meal there, especially the breakfast. It was all explained to us by our kind waiter Ravindu who was always so caring and lovely to talk with. I wish we had have spent more nights here. They were very helpful organising activities also.

The property is really nice, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and supporting with all requests eg finding a SPA, tuktuk for an early hike etc. They have their own restaurant which offers wide selection of foods. Really peaceful atmosphere. Would recommend!

A very beautiful and tranquil hotel. Lovely room and a verandah to sit and watch the birds and squirrels. Pool was very clean and relaxing. Dinner was great and the breakfast was super delicious. Staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night (very good), and went out to a local restaurant the following night which were about 5mins by car away.

The staff is amazing, resort is beautiful and really well-kept, rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and AC works properly. The pool was great and the food was excellent. Everything was perfect! Amazing value for money. My only regret is not staying at Atha Resort for my entire stay in Sigiriya.

A gem of a hotel, small but with real character to it. A lovely pool with restaurant area next to it & beautiful grounds with trees, shrubs & landcaped ponds. The rooms/villas are spread out, so it's peaceful & tranquil with just the sounds of the many birds. The staff were fantastic, very friendly & couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend if in the Sigiriya area.

Stunning little hotel. Perfect location. The calmest atmosphere as soon as you walk through the beautiful gate into a little paradise. We loved the stunning room set on its own overlooking the gardebs, the pool, the service is incredible and the breakfast is such a treat. A fab location too 5 mins to the Sigyria town in a tuc tuc which the staff will call for you. We wish we had longer here loved it x

Everything about this resort is incredible. The location, the pool, the facilities , the beautiful gardens on site and the restaurant all exceeded our expectations. But most importantly the staff there is what made our stay. The manager, the gardeners, the kitchen/serving staff and everyone else were so incredibly friendly and worked so hard to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. One very early morning our driver didn’t show up to take us to Lion’s Rock and the manager even offered to drive us ! I would recommend this place a hundred times over and wish we could’ve stayed longer it truly is the perfect spot to relax. The hotel was able to arrange transportation for us to our next location and our driver (Dammnik) was excellent ! He was very friendly and went out of his way to show us various sites along the way!

The wifi wasn't great in the room, so we had to stay in the restaurant for better connectivity

We stayed in a suite with a plunge pool. The room was large and spacious and had fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The pool was a nice touch to cool off after a hot afternoon hike to Lion Rock or Pidurangala. Food was excellent - particularly the included breakfast every day. The service was also great, and the staff arranged a scooter as well as an elephant safari for us. Overall, we had a great stay at Atha Resort. Highly recommended!
