The room was big, bed super comfy, spacious and had everything we needed including a fridge. The bathroom outside was a lovely touch and was HUGE! Was so great to be able to use the pool club for free, and a discount on drinks and food was even better. It was lovely to relax there after a day on the beach and after surfing in the morning. Staff were all so friendly and on hand to help at all times. Location was great, short walk to the town and the beach.

Perfect location in Mirissa. Having access to Petti Petti is amazing. Only place along the beach with a pool. Room is comfortable and large. Breakfast was great.

It’s very quirky and a great location. Do not be put off by maps as it looks far from the beach but it is only across the road. Banana bunks doesn’t have a pool as such but you can cross the road to Petti Petti and use theirs as they work together. This was one of my favourite places to stay in SriLanka as it was so quirky. We stayed in the private room with our 6 year old son. Property was clean

A lovely big room with a unique indoor/outdoor shower. Having the option of the pool and food/drinks over the road at Petti Petti was ideal. The breakfast included was very generous too.

The pictures are slightly misleading. The pool is part of the beach club and felt uncomfortable to be used without purchasing items. The breakfast was also quite disappointing as there were lack of choices.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location was amazing too, close to both parrot rock and coconut hill.

As any visitor in mirissa, main purpose of our visit was enjoying the beach. The rooms are part of a beachclub next to the property. Even the beachclub is next to the beach, they didnt have sunbeds or common areas for guests to enjoy the beach or the swimming pool. It feels the beachclub is not for guests. They even complained of us bringing the hotel towels to the beach.

It didn’t feel like a hostel with shared area so much… maybe that’s my experience. No kitchen to use/eating area. Hang out spaces outside of dorms but fairly more personal than mixed..

The beds are made of wood and were incredibly creaky- to which kept everyone up at night. There also is no privacy curtain which is unusual in a hostel. The cupboards to store our belongings were really hard to get into.

The aesthetic of the room was absolutely beautiful. It featured an outdoor shower which felt incredibly tropical and luxe for a hostel. Towels were provided.

Everything! The hostel rooms are 100m away from the beach club and the street which makes it really quiet and you feel like you’re surrounded by jungle. To be honest in the beginning we did not like the separation of hostel and pool but after a little time it was nice. The beach part is very beautiful and relaxing compared to Mirissa public beach. Close to the coconut island and parrot island. You can just walk to Mirissa town or if you’re lazy take a TukTuk. Two streets away is a great massage place for 4000lkr (Bandora), and 200m away is a good restaurant “simple” with great kottu

Breakfast in the petti petti restaurant was pretty good, the pool was nice to swim and at the same time have an ocean view, the hostel itself has a nice glooking garden in front of the rooms, clean rooms with enough space even if the rooms are fully booked

There seemed me be a theme with miscommunication about the pool/restaurant that you have access to at the across the street. It's NOT apart of the property. There always seems to be confusion on weather your allowed use it or not. I was also offered 25% off of all food and drinks when I checked in only to be charged full price after I finished my meal. The front desk apologized but it didn't really fix that fact that I still paid full price. It's just something to be aware of.

The dorm rooms, beds, and bathroom were great. Plenty of space in the 6 room dorm. Plenty of room away from your top bunk mate. The entrance was also beauty with lust trees and places to sit. I checked out early and need to catch the bus and the front desk walked me to the bus stop that was undisclosed at 645. I really appreciated it becuase I wouldn't have been able to find it or flag down the driver. So I'm extremely grateful for that.

No seating facilities inside the rooms. It was very uncomfortable since we have reserved a family room and five members were there. Had to take few chairs from outside. Security guy was very helpful and he is the only one i saw throughout my stay apart from appearence of manager for less than a minute.

The room smelled like mold, but the ventilator saved us. Probably because we stay in the outside room and the wall gets wet when it rains.

No mosquito coverage on inside of shutters so you have to choose between natural light and mosquitoes or sit in the dark to avoid them. Bathroom smelt musty

We had a fantastic stay near the beach! It offers convenient access to the beach. The staff Mr. Saman was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met with a smile. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach getaway with exceptional service.
