The location is very good right next to Trincomalee beach. Lovely rooftop with nice views of the beach. Good swimming pool to refresh after a long day at the beach. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly and able to arrange whatever you want to do in Trincomalle. Vincent was very helpful and a great guy. Would highly recomend.

The room was bright and clean and well appointed. The food in their restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I stayed four night and would have been more than happy to have stayed longer or to return at a latter date.

The bed could be positioned so that we could see the view and walk onto the verandah. The bedhead blocked access to the French doors.

The restaurant chef made us an outstanding Sri Lankan omelette and coffee for breakfast. The pool was clean and refreshing. The roof top entertaining area was beautifully maintained, with tropical plants and flowers, as well as a breathtaking view of Trincomalee Bay.

Very clean, with a pool and communal kitchen so we could make hot drinks, cool drinks in the fridge and cook snacks. Fernando and Sajan were friendly and helpful and very keen to make our stay stress-free. It was no problem arriving early and leaving late, as we could sit in the foyer and still use the facilities. They cooked a meal for us mid-afternoon and arranged a tuktuk to the train station. The room was cool, with air con and a fan. Toiletries and 2 top sheets were provided. The property is towards the town end of the beach, with nice sea views from upstairs. Thank you for a lovely end to our stay in Sri Lanka.

Kitchen and bathroom could have been a little cleaner

Staff are very friendly and helpful. There were 3 main staff, Sajan, Fernando and Priyanka. All went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and very friendly with us. The place was clean and food in the restaurant behind which was cooked by the staff was delicious. As we had elderly parents and young children, the manager and staff re-arranged the rooms to give us ground floor rooms to make sure we had comfort

The beach was not really that close as advertised, out balcony was right behind our bed, so couldn't be opened, and it was also very dirty. The rest of the room was clean. What we really didn't like was, that we ordered dinner for 7pm, and it came around 8pm. The English proficiency of the employees also isn't as good.

The hotel was, but not what you could expect in Europe. The staff, I think the receptionist was called Fred, was really nice. It was definitely one of the better places we have stayed in during out trip, but it did not stand out anyhow. The breakfast was very typical with plain white toast, egg, jam, butter (but it's really margarine), but you could also order Dahl.

ctually the location of the hotel is very free and there are rooms with sea view which is a great experience and there is a very friendly staff. There is a restaurant, in that restaurant we serve delicious food prepared for the money we pay, it is really amazing and there is a swimming pool that is very clean.

The beach wasn't that great, lots of dogs and a bit dirty. The owner isn't very nice, but luckily the manager is awesome, which makes up for this.

The hotel was nice and they were in the process of finishing building a pool which would be a great addition. The manager is such a lovely guy and does everything to make your stay amazing, if I'm being 100% honest, if it wasn't for him, the score would be lower. Food was ok, we actually chose the hotel, partly based on how amazing the food looked in the pictures, but the meals you get unfortunately are really nothing like the photos.

The adjacent partner mini restaurant is a no go, the food was not edible. Problem with beach access, just about 50 meters but problematic through adjacent hotel - hope this will be resolved as promised. Kitchens are practical but could be cleaner. Laundry service was nice but several pieces got damaged.

The owner and his team are making good efforts and constantly improving the hotel - now building a swimming pool. He is also ready to organize things and has a customer oriented approach. Overall a positive experience, good value for money.

Although very close to the beach, this particular part of the beach is a fisherman's beach, so it is full of boats, not exactly the best part to hang out. Just something to keep in mind, but overall great.

Value for money, the hotel is great. Rooms are clean and organized, staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, it is well located with sea views and the restaurant is great. Would definitely recommend.
