Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the kitchen, it was in fact very tired and used (dirty). The kettle and chopping boards were very used as were all of the pans and other equipment. The bins were left with food inside them for over 24hrs which caused a smell and attracted flies. Disappointing as we paid more for the property so we could use the kitchen. There was also miscommunication when it came to scooter rental, the price is expensive compared to other rentals in Sri Lanka - it is done through a third party company but you pay the hotel. It was already expensive and I was then overcharged for using the scooter. It was disappointing as the hotel staff was the person who over charged me, I should have paid for a 1 1/2 days but was charged for 2.

The rooms are tired, the bathroom is dirty, bedding was stained and had holes in. It seems like the place used to be great, but has been left for too long without being maintained. Too expensive for the quality of the room!

For the price, we expected better. The shower smelled and the nearest beach was also kinda dirty and smelly. “Beachfront” is also a rather optimistic description, as you have to walk 300-400m on the road to actually get to the beach.

The pool was great and you had view to the beach. You could buy some water and beer.

From 11:00pm to 1:00am they played very loud music in the hotel and people were loud without thinking that people want to sleep. The beach is also not nice, lots of trash everywhere.

Staff was pretty friendly, gave us blankets because we didnt have any.

The whole room wasn't cleaned before I entered. The toilet seat had urine all over it. The bathroom and the room floor was disgusting The sheets on the bed had, what looked like period blood and other stains on it. After telling staff, they didn't even offer to change rooms or the sheet, he just tried to cover it with another sheet. I had to ask for the whole bed to be changed. To which they didn't have enough sheets for.

The location was goood.

There were no cups and saucers in the room as well as no heaters tea bags, coffee bags, or anything in the room. There were cups in the kitchen area but I think the norm is to have them ready in the room. But the kitchen has a gas cooker so you can cook pretty much anything there. Initially, I was not provided with the blankets, but once I asked the manager he provided those immediately without hesitance. The checkout time being 10 am is way too early IMO. Since it comes at low cost, I believe value for money is good. Regarding the staff, they were really helpful including the manager. I did not like the food there as well.

Facilities- hired 3 rooms. Room 101 leaking shower hose therefore not enough water pressure, toilet cubicle flush did not work at all. Used the bidet to flush the waste. One double bed bendy. So many spiderwebs underneath the bed. Room 102, toilet cubicle was leaking when trying to flush. Nightmare scenario. Shower was not functioning properly, not enough water pressure. Uninvited guests (cockroaches) were found behind the cabinet. Room 103, this room didn’t have many problems except for the two cockroaches that were found and the lack of cleaning. Ground floor kitchen was awful. Used mop bucket of water was kept in there for 2 days. Cabinet doors were dirty. None of the washrooms have any electrical ventilation or proper functioning windows (2 of the rooms’ window handles were broken)

Except the staff, there aren’t any that we can say good about this place

It is NOT beachfront. We felt jibbed when we arrived. Dont say its beachfront and show pictures of it being beachfront if its not. Say its 100 metres from the beach.

Once we were given top bedding, towels, toilet roll and soap which we had to ask for, the rooms were comfy. There was a communal kitchen which was handy at times.

The bathroom smelled very bad, outside was very dirty, the kitchen was teribly dirty. We ordered breakfast at 7:15, but we waited until 8 in the morning, so we were late for our arranged trip. It is not worth of that money. The pfhotos on booking.com are way more beautiful then reality was.

We booked this hotel and Booking.com said it was confirmed but when we arrived they told us it was not actually available. Unsure whether it was the system’s fault or theirs but either way, it was very disappointing. Upon request, they did help us find another hotel nearby but it was a bit more expensive than this one which was a bit of an issue as we did not have much cash left as it was our last night in Sri Lanka.

It is a bit too far from the main touristic highlights and if you want to swim comfortably you need to walk at least 2 km to the nearest swimming spot which would be free from fishermen boats and nets.

Very good place for it’s price, clean, comfy, has a kitchen, you can also iron things , very close to the sea. There is also a beautiful view to the sea, either from your room or a rooftop.

Loose fittings & fixers. Not clean - nil concept of cleanliness; rooms were not cleaned between guest stays; Not sufficient lighting & plug points. Not enough furnitures/ badly positioned furniture. Leaking windows (windy & rainy day) - we were told that the previous guests left windows open- that shows the staffs didn’t check the rooms after guests vacating; damp bed linens; There was only one staff present. He wasn’t there when we vacated.

Close to the beach, about 5 mins walk. Inexpensive hotel. Quite big room for the price. Provided food as per our request but the dinning table isn’t sufficient for all guests.

our toilet was loose and leaking water. and when you shower the whole bathroom floor gets wet. We ordered Sri Lankan breakfast but we got some type of English breakfast that the manager made. we didn’t like it at all and had to pay a lot for it. The only thing we ate was two slices of bread with eggs and 2tiny bananas. No juice or water and terrible coffe that we didn’t touch. I suggest eating in the restaurant!!

the Manager and staff were very nice and friendly. And the food from the restaurant was very good, the people from the restaurant was very friendly and kind. The fan was working well in the bedroom.
