Was a struggle to go up and down the property as it was a very steep slope going up. No AC too and just one power socket (however they were kind enough to provide an extension cord when we requested). Rooms really need some touch up - Weren’t really in good shape. Have to do some pest control as there were a lot of insects coming into the room as well.

Be aware it’s up a steep road and not all cars would manage it , so heavy bulky luggage could be a problem. Brilliant Roshan took bags on his bike and it’s a steep walk to the accommodation but totally worth it. You can’t walk to town , so a bus into town is easier and not so crowded , but need to negotiate a Tuk Tuk for the return , as buses tend to get very full. The town is very busy and touristy but a good choice of restaurants..

Great idea for rooms , but the standard room is quite tight for two people as the bed is along one side. The superior room had more space , and a terrace. Great host Roshan , and assistant Dhanushan , both friendly and helpful , good breakfast and an evening meal.

This is my favorite place in Ella. It's cozy and comfortable, and there are only tea plantations and birdsong around. This is not the first time I have returned here and I plan to return again. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Panoramic Windows, the whole area is covered with flowers and very beautiful! I definitely recommend it to all my friends and not only. A friend also recommended this place to me.

The walk up to the location can be a bit daunting, especially if you've just come from Adam's Peak 😂

The location was phenomenal. About a 20 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Would definitely book again. You'll love the hospitality and cherish the views and serenity of the place.

There is a very steep and narrow entry to this place as it is on a hill. If you are driving in a tuk tuk only one person can be in the vehicle at a time in order to get it up the hill so this is something to be mindful of.

This place is phenomenal! The views from the room are breathtaking as you are so high and can see over all the mountains. Our plan was to go watch the sunrise over little Adam's Peak but we decided to watch it from here instead as it seems just as high if not higher and we got to watch it from the comfort of our own little balcony. Can't describe how beautiful this was!!! Room is comfortable with a nice area to store luggage within. Definitely a special experience! Just to be aware this accommodation is a 10 minute drive from the main Ella Town with all the restaurants so it's quite accessible via Tuk tuk but not in walking distance.

Amazing location, with incredible views! The rooms a cosy and clean. We had everything we needed! Roshan and Danu were great hosts, that were happy to help with anything we needed. And the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious!!

Everything was great and I have no complaints. I was unlucky to have 4 days of constant rain, but I liked the accommodation so much that it was fun to actually stay in and chill out and avoid the rain that way!

Great place to stay in Ella, but outside of Ella town center! I was really looking forward to this accommodation ever since I booked it - and it did not let down! Great communication with Roshan, accommodation looked just as advertised. WiFi was working really well, the room was spacious and had large windows and - as advertised - you can see a fabulous sunrise from your bed every morning. Breakfast was the best I had on my 3-month trip - diverse and tasty authentic local food (and huge) - compliments to the young chef! I wanted this particular type of location - Ella as a town is overrun with Western tourists, and I wanted to have nothing to do with them. I preferred to stay outside the city center (reachable by tuk tuk) and enjoy AMAZING views of the mountain peaks. So, this will be great for travelers who are similar to me.

They are very far from the center, pick me app or uber doesn’t works so you are forced to take their driver to get in the city center which is so expensive. The sheets were dirty.

The place was very quiet and gorgeous. We reached the hotel after sunset. We couldn't see much of the area due to the mist and darkness. After the dawn, we saw amazing views of mountains and eagle view of the ella city.... there was a wonderful swing net and a wooden table.. The room was pretty darn tidy and cleaned. Everything was arranged in good order.. breakfast was delicious, and it was right on time we requested. Very nice place to visit with your loved one and don't miss the chance..
