They gave us precious recommandations and suggested places and areas near to hotel to eat and drink something. There was also the possibility to make some coffee and tea for free. GermanyPoor wifi Irresponsible behaviour by their staff- In my absence they gave my bed to another person and opened my locker with their spare keys…even after finding my stuffs in the locker the staff didn’t care to lock the locker again but left it open for the whole day. This is very irresponsible behaviour and it questioned the safety of your valuables and belongings while your stay. Mistakes can happen so giving my bed by mistake can be tolerated but opening a locked locker by their spare keys is not acceptable and to worsen it they left it open with all my belongings in it for the entire day is an absolute careless and irresponsible behaviour. After narrating the whole situation I didn’t get an apology from the person who left my locker open or someone to take the responsibility of the situation.I expect the answer and compensation.
The reception staff was friendly and very welcoming. Specially Mr Khalid and Mr denis helped me with my luggage to the uber. Overall the staffs were friendly but irresponsible.

United KingdomMy wife and I have been in Sri Lanka for one month and have stayed in 15 different places while we were here. There have sometimes been issues in other places we have stayed, but this hotel was the only one where the staff were rude, actually argued with us, and did not apologise or try to resolve the problem in a mutually respectful way. To start with, we were asked to pay for the room upfront without seeing it. This is the only time we have been asked to do this while staying in the country; normally, payment is taken on check-out. Naturally, having encountered problems with rooms in other stays, I wanted to see the room first before paying. The initial inspection of the room was okay. When paying for the room in cash, we were given a bad exchange rate, again the first time in the country where we didn't pay the exchange rate seen online. On the morning of check-out, we found ants everywhere: on the table in our room, on the walls, behind pictures. We stayed on the second floor with no open windows, so these ants were already in the hotel and the room, probably living in the cracks in the walls. When I brought this to the attention of the man at the desk, his immediate reaction was to argue with me. He claimed that I had inspected the room and it was fine and that it was my fault, as bringing a small packet of dates into the room had attracted the ants. This packet was half-eaten and the size of a pack of cigarettes at most. I tried to explain my dissatisfaction and that these ants didn't come from the outside, and every time I tried to speak, I was cut off mid-sentence. Eventually, I had to interrupt myself and ask the man to stop so I could finish my sentences to get my point across. During this, he increasingly raised his voice at me and smirked while talking to me, becoming more and more rude. I then requested a partial refund for what had happened, both in the room and for the way I was treated.
The room was ok until the ant invasion.

United KingdomWe had no towels so asked multiple times if we could get some as we wanted a shower after travelling and were heading back out for dinner, it was at least 45 minutes in the end. Same issue with the remote control after we returned, it just needed some new batteries but this took a ridiculous amount of time so we ended up watching something on our tablet. Nothing really bad but just left a little disappointed.
We loved our first and second trip here, staff were amazing, room was lovely, the third time we left a little disappointed. We were in a tiny room this time, which was fine, just unexpectedly plain. The reception area is very comfy and good air conditioning with coffee if you need to wait for your room to be ready.
