Best hostel in Colombo! I tested three and came coming back because this one was really fantastic! - Excellent facilities (locker for you luggage, personal socket, wifi, always clean, towel & blanket provided, AC) - very helpful staff (big thanks to Faray who made my stay possible even when they where officially booked out) - good location (very central and close to central Station) - easy to socialize (I came as a solo-travel but every day quickly met people to hang out with/go on day trips with) - great overall experience (free coffee/tea downstairs, rooftop area to chill, luggage storage available, good travel advice from staff, nice guests, ...)

very good location, close to all transport facilities and the best places in town. They keep your luggage for free, so you can spend the day in town, and take a late evening flight. in a tropical climate they have very good A/C. Free towels, good kitchen, free water, coffee, tea.

Excellent location! Only a few minutes walk to the fort area with lots of restaurants. Only 10 mins walk to the train station so very convenient. Nice and calm hotel with a lovely communal sitting area. Comfy beds too. I used “Roshan” to take a tour of Colombo and this was one of the best things I did on my trip. Roshan is very friendly and was more of a friend than your usual tour guide. He went out of his way to help me and always offered great advice. I will be back to Sri Lanka and will be requesting Roshan for my tour. Make sure you do the same!

The very helpful staff, the location. The bed was very very comfortable! You have coffee and tea at your disposal all day long. I loved my stay there and would really recommend it. :)

United KingdomCheck-in was an absolute shambles. We arrived for 1.30pm and were told to wait for 5 minutes. 15 minutes later we asked again and were told '2 minutes'. It took 40 minutes to get our room in the end. The staff constantly lied about when it would be ready and even laughed at another woman when she asked about her room again. They refused to tell my partner our room number after they took me up while she had left the lobby for a minute. The man that took me to the room was shouting about making the rooms clean and we 'have to wait', don't offer 1.30pm check in if you can't stick to it! Ironically the bed linen had stains on it. 3% charge for paying with card.
Toiletries and water provided in the room, good location, quiet rooms.
