FinlandKitchen staff was a bit rude. We got moldy salad and they argued against that it's only discoloured. Nah, it was moldy. Another time we orderd eggs during the breakfast, never got them. After asking, staff started to blame each other. They started making it again, and made it wrong. Small but annoying things.
Room was beautiful and clean. As you expect for the price. Hostel reception staff and room service was amazing.

Sri LankaThe usual Standard double room wasn't available on their site or on Booking.com. Looked for other options and interestingly the Cinnamon official site didn't show any remaining options for a double room stay for 2 but Booking.com showed a *double room with a panoramic view* option. It was already costlier but had to pay an additional amount because I had to book through Booking.com since it wasn't shown on the official site.
Quick check-in and check-out experience. Been here multiple times since years so can say those procedures have improved.

I’ve had an excellent stay at the Cinnamon Red. The hotel is stylish, comfortable, and all the employees make you feel welcome. Breakfast is generous and offers amazing variety. I want to specifically commend two staff members. >Christopher at the reception desk went out of his way to accommodate my special request. He was understanding and listened patiently. >Dusan, my room attendant, checked with me regularly to be sure I had everything I needed. When he cleaned the room, it was impeccable. Moreover, his positive attitude is infectious. I highly recommend this property.

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our month-long journey. It truly felt like a five-star experience with its comprehensive amenities. The staff, including those at the gym, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality. The hotel's prime location made it convenient for exploring the area. The pièce de résistance was the massive rooftop pool on the 26th floor, offering breathtaking views. Walking through the well-ventilated corridors to our room was a pleasant experience. The security check at the entrance added an extra layer of safety, resembling airport protocols. Overall, a luxurious and convenient stay that exceeded our expectations.

FranceAC was not strong enough to get the room cool. Mine was facing south and west and the AC just wasn't powerful enough to get the room below 23°C. I never managed to get hot water in the shower even after 15 minutes. Wifi was slow (but better than a lot of other places in Sri Lanka!)
