I had a wonderful stay at Cloud Inn Kandy. The owner was incredibly supportive, always quick to respond, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. The hospitality made my stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hassle-free and welcoming stay in Kandy!

We had a tough time catching an Uber to pick us up from the property as its up a hilly road.

Gayan the host was amazing! He was more than willing to help with any needs we had. The room we had was huge and the dinner for extra charge was a delicious home cooked meal. The location seems far from the town, but there is a short cut down some stairs that’ll cut your time by a significant amount.

Getting to the house is slightly taxing due to the steep climb and uneven road. However, it is located very close to the city centre.

The hosts are very helpful. The property is also very clean and well maintained.

There’s a fantastic balcony - some chairs and a table would make it an amazing space!

Perfect for one night. The host was what made this experience a 10. He, and his family were so kind, welcoming and generous. The breakfast was amazing, and it was a great experience being told about each item.

Our stay here was amazing the owner was amazing such a kind hearted lovely man and his family are also amazing. The room was comfortable and clean and it’s not too far to the Centre. Probably one of the best stays we have had in Sri lanka. Make sure to book this place such good value for money and such a warm welcoming place

The host was amazing and very helpful in organising activities for our trip. The best part though was the food. I had dinner and breakfast and both were very authentic Sri Lankan food and a fraction of the price you pay in the city. Definitely recommend the breakfast!

The road was a bit bad in terms of potholes and is small. To be fair it has nothing to do with the property itself but the road leading to it.

Some of the tuk tuk drivers had trouble finding the place.

Clean and comfy place. Very nice hosts. There was a good working fan in the room, which was definitely enough. Very good traditional breakfast with explanation how to eat it. It’s in a calm area. By foot you can take a short cut going up and down some stairs to go to the main road. To the temple it’s a 30min walk.

Owner a bit pushy in selling some tours. Also at checkout an issue about paying an extra tax recently introduced by government, thing which I disagreed, I am always paying the amount on Booking. If are there any extra taxes they should be reflected in the booking cost.

Location, the owner showed us a shortcut to reach Kandy city centre easier.

The host Gayan - so professional and hospitable! He will perfectly taking care about you and can give you all informations what you need. Rooms are basic and clean - cost performance ratio is AAA+ Ps: the chicken kottu (homemade with love from his wife) is super delicious! PPS: with the shortcut from the hotel you are super fast (2mins) at the main road - from there you can take a tuk tuk or walk nice along the lake to the Tempel and city center.
