It is a nice place. Very helpful staff. Mr.Dinesh and his staff are always responsive to any query. There is a small pool about 6 meters long. Very well lit at night. Very relaxing to have spend some time in the pool along with a beer at night before going to sleep. It has a small kitchen so that you can cook your food. Also a beautiful balcony and a yard where you can hang out with fellow travellers. Beach is just behind the hostel. 5 minutes walk. Ideal location for a vacation I recommend this place to everyone.

Comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Swimming pool in secluded area and great chill out area on the rooftop. Only a 5 minute walk from the beach. The staff were all super friendly and gave good recommendations for places to go in Sri Lanka as well as the best route to take.

i booked a AC room and when I arrived I was told AC broke down and even though I was offered an extra fan, it was long hot and sweaty night. I guess it was bad luck but I was very unhappy. One advise is to be aware w the tuck tuck driver that stands outside the hostel an older guy, he will try to rip you off w the fare, use UBER to get the right price

Take mosquito spray. Sri lankan mosquitos have no compassion for anyone.

Perfect as per usual. Good private rooms. Quiet but at the same time the loveliest rooftop with the best chats ever having a beer. Must for any backpacker. Don't underestimate Colombo and spend a couple of days there. 15 min tuktuk to town and 10 min walk to a top beach.

Allwas perfect! Impossible to dislike

I loved every single moment in this hostel. After coming from India I neededba cool place close to the beach with amazing chill vibes. Wanted only to stay one day, ended up several nights! The vibe, the people and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Rooms were neat, clean and very comfortable. Special thanks to Maria, Dinusha and Roma! Maria is an excellent host and always ready to help. The hostel is located really near to the beach and has good rooms. The common area specially the roof top is really pretty. You can stay here if you want to meet new people and have some fun parties.

I think this is the best place for your first stop in Sri Lanka. You have beach 3’ walk and also advantages of big city. When I read the reviews, I was scared there’s going to be very hot in the room, but the owner obviously takes the reviews seriously and it was pleasant surprise to me that there was the A/C in the room. There is an amazing rooftop to chill and get rested after the flight. There is a train station near by, from where you can continue your journey around Sri Lanka. The owner is very nice and helped us with planning our trip around. We will be back, we fell in love with this place!
