Location is great, really walking distance to everything in Weligama. Facilities were comfortable enough, not ac but good fan working in the rooms. They also have a shared kitchen enough for breakfast or simple things. Owners were very lovely.

since there are no screens on the windows and they consist of bars in the upper part, the neighbors and everything that happens around can be heard very well. it is impossible to stay in a room on the second floor without air conditioning during the day, the walls get very hot and the fan does not save from the heat. also at night when you turn on the lights, all flying insects come to the room. there are many insects in the kitchen that are combated with kerosene, which causes a very strong smell. there is only one refrigerator and there is always no room in it, as there are quite a lot of guests. for my comfort i had to buy fumagation device, pillow cases, blanket and sponges for washing dishes. It would be nice for the owners to buy new dishes for eating and cooking. 🙏

Very friendly hosts 😌 The guest house is run by a father and son, the father lives on the premises. his son speaks English well and manages booking, always responds quickly on whatsapp and helps solve problems. the location is perfect. in the second house, which is newer, you can't hear the road at night. a relatively recent renovation in the room. there is a fan and an adapter. There is a dining table in the common area. room cleaning once a week. toilet paper is provided on request. cleaning of the territory every day. beautiful view around, you can see wild animals on the territory 😍😍

The room was not clean at all, I had to buy cleaning products to clean the bathroom and closet. We stayed 15 days, and we didn't receive any cleaning during the stay. We had an inconvenience with the owner because the fan was broken, and he has been really rude and screaming on us.

The value for the price! Having a kitchen, the garden is really quiet. Big bed The room we had was really quiet in the backyard.

Very clean room. Upstairs, all the rooms share a balcony. It rained a lot whenI was there and that made a lot of noise in the rooms upstairs. Downstairs would be nicer if this bothers you.

drain & sewer system is disappointing ... hope owners could find a way to improve it

I booked this place for few days.. as baggage storage while travelling to Adam's peak But after check in I've discovered that room is fresh & clean, bright and cozy, bed is great, there were working place and WiFi was strong enough to do my job. so i prolong my stay for few weeks. Location is good! everything is rather nearby, yep... about 20 min to surf points, but you can walk along the beach, sunbathing or jogging to worm up ))) just enjoy Owners were friendly ( i was worry a bit because of some reviews) i didn't have any problems and they react fast and nice to my requests. Google translator, smile and whatsApp with their son - worked well in case of any things to discuss etc. My feedback refers to rooms on veranda on the back yard. There are different type of rooms there, but i can recommend that one which i tried. Don't expect Marriott service for this price and you won't be disappointed ))) but it's really one of the best value for money options in economy segment.

Cozy and comfortable room with a small kitchen area, though I couldn't use it coz the cooking gas ran out when I wanted to make a cup of tea 😔 The place was good enough for me as a solo Traveller, location was also fine. There is only a table fan in the room which was okay as I stayed there in January..may not be enough in hotter months.

The room is super hot! There’s a mosquito net on the windows, that might be a good thing, but in an improvised way, which makes impossible to open the window, so, there’s no fresh air, no wind, nothing.

The mattress is new, bed is comfy! The shower works well, and one of the few places I stayed in the area that really offers hot water! Location is good, walkable distance from the city center and restaurants

- Wi-fi was not powerful. - Flush would stop working every now and then. But I guess it could be fixed if you ask the owner. We didn't ask. We tried to fix it ourselves 😁

It could be a little bit cleaner and the room gets very hot during the day and there isn’t a lot of air moving around. The fan in the room is quite dusty.
