The accomodation can be a little tricky for tuk tuks and cars to get to. However this wasn’t an issue for us as after we arrived, we walked to and from the accomodation using the trail behind our room.

We loved the room and the hosts were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There is a walking trail on a train track out the back of the room which is lovely to walk on. It’s a short walk to the main road with lots of bars and restaurants. The view was so beautiful. Overall would highly recommend!!

In a country full of breathtaking views, this place probably has one of the best. Absolutely stunning. The breakfast was lovely, and getting to sit out and eat in front of that view is a really special opportunity. There is also a shortcut to walk into Ella town along the train tracks which the host will show you, that is a game changer when it comes to getting to and from the town, 9 arch bridge, Little Adam's Peak, and Ella Rock. Book here, you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely room and en suite with a balcony where they brought a great breakfast so we could eat looking over the hillside. The hosts were a young couple and they work hard to make your stay enjoyable. A little out of town but our host took us to a short cut walking beside the railway so town was only ten minutes walk away. Don't forget a head torch for the walk back after your meal. You can walk or get a tuk tuk down the road which is quite steep but not a problem if reasonably fit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Divine View Homestay was perfect for our one night in Ella. Ruwan, our host, helped us with everything we needed, ordering us Tuk-tuk rides into the centre for the evening and to get the train next day. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. This property must look over one of the best views in Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend staying with Ruwan when visiting Ella

Everything. It is the most incredible view, team, food, location and more. We had a very spacious, clean and perfectly functioning room. We also loved that it was so close to the train tracks for hikes + the food was delicious. You simply must stay here!

We have no complaints, just an observation regarding the property's vicinity to the railway track. It is very close and the trains are noisy and run from early o'clock. I was woken very early! Having said that I would still recommend.

The location was excellent, and just a 10 min walk into town and 45 min walk to the nine arch bridge (both alongside the railway line). Very well positioned for the train station. The room was large, containing a king-size bed and a double, complete with shallow duvet. Plenty of lights and plug sockets. The shower room was larger than the pictures show, with good water pressure and hot water. A tasty and filling breakfast was brought to our balcony table at a time set by us. View from our large and private balcony was fantastic, with lots of wildlife in the surrounding trees and shrubs. We stayed for one night. Could have stayed for longer.

The lamps didn't have the correct plug for the socks. The place was clean, and the bed was really comfy, I feel tight mentioning the lamps.

Breakfast had lots of fresh fruit, srilankana breakfast and a massive pot of tea or coffee was delivered to our balcony or we could.have it in a covered dinning area. Amazing views from our balcony. The host was very helpful and showed us a shortcut into town.

Everything! The views when you wake up in the morning - simply breathtaking. If you can, book the family room as it has the most amazing terrace in the area. Very spacious room and bathroom. Good location as it is away from the noise, but short walk from Ella centre when you follow the train tracks. Hosts prepared delicious breakfast for us and would always check if we need any help with our planned itinerary for the next day.
