Great location. 5 mins walk to lazy lefts and rights and 10mins walk to Sion (which is where we surfed). Close to lots of food options and they have a menu too so we ended up doing breakfast/coffee here everyday. Extended our stay cuz we liked the chill vibe. Vish and Devi are always happy to help with all. We booked a transfer to Ella with a Safari thru them and it was great. Monkeys pass through the gardens in the arvo. Outdoor shower and board storage. A fridge to use and also basic kitchen stuff like chopping board/cutlery/ crockery and a jug. Loved it.!

This was my second stay at Dreams Garden Surf Lodge and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly that it felt like a home from home. Dev and Vish were incredibly helpful and always happy to have a chat. The property is well located, as it is away from the busy main road but close enough to easily walk to Midigama and the beaches. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and tropical forest, and it is often possible to spot interesting wildlife. My room was spacious and comfortable and had a shady verandah for relaxing and dining. The food is delicious! ... banana pancakes, rice and curry, and roti with dal were some of my favourites. I would definitely stay at Dreams Garden Surf Lodge for a third time!

I had an amazing three-week stay here! The family is incredibly sweet and welcoming—it truly felt like home. They take care of everything, and whenever I needed something, they organized it right away. The hammocks in the beautiful garden were perfect for relaxing, and the whole place is peaceful, tucked away from the main road. I had a scooter, but I also walked a few times with my surfboard to Lazy Right/Left—it’s only a 10-minute walk. Whether you're looking for comfort, hospitality, or a quiet place, this place is perfect. Highly recommend!

that we were supposed to pay for bottled water and were told mid stay instead of the start. the accommodation was a lot further away from the beach that we had belied it to. we couldn't pay for our accommodation with credit card and there was no where in the booking to say cash or bank transfer only.

the beds were comfy and the facilities were good. we didn't expect to have the place to ourselves which was nice.

Dev and his family are very accomodating. Upon arrival they took time to show me around and offer me something to drink. They are always enthousiast to see you and have a chat. The property is located in a calm and green area, perfect to come to rest. The hammocks are a plus! The room is clean and comfortable.

There is a club that played loud music until early morning. This is out of the control of the property, but take note of this if you are a sensitive sleeper.

The property is very peaceful with a hammock, chairs, tables, and plenty of outdoor space to relax. It’s very close to the beach and prime surf breaks, the host family is very kind and welcoming, and the homemade meals are delicious! The highlight was watching the fireflies from our porch over a candlelight dinner. The room and shower are basic, but the stay is excellent for the price.

Dev and Vish are wonderful hosts, who made me feel very welcome and were always helpful. The property is surrounded by a large garden, where you can often see interesting wildlife, while relaxing on the shady veranda. The location is great as the house is far enough away from the busy road to be peaceful, while still being close enough to easily walk to Midigama and the beaches. I had many of my meals at Dreams Garden Surf Lodge as the food was so tasty. I would definitely stay here again!

Its a beautiful old house with a shady Terrasse, but that means also rather small and dark rooms at daytime.

We really loved our stay with Dev and Vish here, they are wonderful hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed at all Times. The house and garden are sparkling clean and well mantained at all Times. Its a calm and friendly vibe all around and we met lovely people during our 1 month stay here :)

Vish and his family makes you feel like home since the moment you arrive ❤️ The house has all the amenities you need, rooms and toilets, also a fantastic outdoor shower! Since I booked the house, he contact me and we organised our arrivals and also the taxi to the airport. The location is amazing and the garden and chill outdoor area the best! Apart from the house, they helped us in bike rentals, waters, and recommendations of the area and surroundings. Thank you Vish and family, I highly recommend Dreams Garden if you are planning to visit Midigama :)

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The Family running it is so nice and they really want you too enjoy your stay. You can get also get breakfast and dinner there. They rent out scooters too. Will come again!

Dev has a lovley place tucked away from the main road in a quiet tropical area. I loved my stay here for 2 weeks, such a welcoming and homely feel. Dev and Vish are perfect hosts and will help you out with anything you need. The food is also amazing and so fresh. The herbs come directly from the garden and Dev is a great cook - Chilli Rotti and Dhal is a must try! 2 minute walk from Lazy left wave and option to rent a scooter aswell so its perfect for a more chill, authetic experience but within 10 minutes of the busier Weligamma and Ahangama. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. :)

The room is an uncosy fridge. It’s dark even during daytime, basically a place to close yourself in and put an A/C on. Not much airflow, which made it feel a little bit damp. Furniture is plastic and very cheap. The window was small, with frosted glass, blocked by the bed. There were ADS of hostels services inside the room (why do I have to look at an ad for international driving license?)

Very nice hosts. Nice garden. Location close to the main road but quiet. I kind of liked the patio in front of the room, although had a random objects like a jogging machine (???). Many power outlets.
