What a beautiful place to stay for the amazing view! Your bedroom window looks right out to the waterfall and mountains. Big comfy bed with mosquito net! Very happy with my stay! Staff were friendly and lovely!

The road to the property is a bit rough.

Having the Wonderful view of the waterfall meant that we were a little bit further from the centre of town, up a bumpy steep road. Tuktuk drivers asked a little bit more to go that road. However I think it was well worth the extra cost to see the waterfall every morning. Walking to and back to the centre is probably scenic and fine for most people, taking perhaps 30 mins, but we had mobility issues.

Fantastic breakfast, loved the coconut pancakes and also the egg hoppers with dahl or the tomato and onion mix. Heaps of fresh fruit too. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable and clean. What was best though is the view. You are straight across from a beautiful waterfall, and can hear the rush of water from the room. The family were most helpful when we couldn't connect to wifi, and solved the problem almost immediately. The family also have a tuktuk which came in handy. .

The view is spectacular. We had a nice and private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the landscape. The people are friendly and available. They also provide for transport back and forth from the town which is good, because the road to get there is a bit rugged.

Not a big issue, but it would have been nice to have hangers for clothes and more hooks in the bathroom.

I honestly can’t rate the value high enough; 5* service for an unbelievable price. The stunning view, comfy bed, clean bathroom (and nice hot shower), the helpful staff and the amazing breakfast.. everything about this place is just WOW! The location is in a very peaceful area a 15-20min walk from Ella’s main town but so worth it to be out in the wilderness with all the sounds of nature - I would recommend them to anyone and would happily return again and again!

Awesome view of the waterfall, very comfortable bed, great staff and the best breakfast we had on our trip. Nice quiet location on Waterfall Road. Perfect for us. Takes about 15-20mins to walk the narrow lane into Ella which won't suit everyone.

Waterfall view - amazing Excellent breakfast Cosy homely feel - nice friendly owner and wife live in ..about as fas from a bland corporate hotel as you can get. Room was cosy, everything worked and the location up Waterfall Road was a good distance away from the bar/backpacker/bob-marley/disco mayhem that Ella has become. Only the sound of the roaring waterfall’ over which one has direct view, to ease you to sleep. Magic

Not a problem for us, but it is about a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre along the hill road but it is easily accessible by tuktuk.

A very peaceful and comfortable room with a lovely view of the waterfalls. The family was extremely friendly and helpful, helping us to get a tuktuk to the town and get on the right bus to get down towards Tissa :) Thank you!

The great view to the waterfall. It is pleasure to eat fruits and see such a beauty. Very good cooking skills. Domestic chicken curry was fantastic! Clean room and big and comfortable beds for good sleeping. Very welcoming personnel!

A bit fare from main town- also more than the 600 meter the sign from Main Street state. You can get a tuk tuk but a bit out to walk

Our stay in Ella was absolutely perfect! This was the best accommodation ever, with an amazing view of the waterfall. We had one of the best breakfasts of our lives, Dammi is an incredible chef! The hooper eggs and Sri Lankan pancakes were the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place!

Hard pillows but a very minor point linked to preference!

The view was wonderful - staff (who were a family) were excellent and provided a wonderful breakfast. Accommodation clean and comfortable. Location outside of Ella suited us as it was so peaceful but an easy walk or tuk tuk ride into Ella.

Such a nice place, with the best view of waterfall and overlooking the valley. The most friendly host and greatest breakfast on earth, with a mix of well-known fruits and toast - and new experience with egg hoppers and pancakes with coconut. Very nice
