Just some kind notes on what to improve. It was only one bedside table so what if we'd been two? There was no separate lamps for reading and the lamps could not be switched off from the bed. As in so many other places I had to get up, turn off the lamps and find my way back in the dark. I didn't like the plastic sheets that covered the opening above the door facing the garden ( I do understand why it was there). It made the room look like a building site as they had not removed the adhesive protection. Easy to fix though! The bathroom and toilet is just next to the out- side lounge area. I prefer to pay by card on arrival instead of carrying loads of cash around.

It was a nice and clean room with a comfortable bed. I slept so well. There was a desk as well and a chair. I liked the potted plants inside the room both on the floor and up on the shelves. It gave the room a cosy feeeling. Plenty of space for hanging up clothes. The area is really nice and within walking distance to many places like Havelock city mall, Cool planet, Kells, Foodcity and different cafés and restaurants. The staff is very hospitable and friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this accommodation! The hosts were exceptionally friendly and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and transportation, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - fresh, varied, and the perfect way to start the day.

Great value for money! Comfy beds and lovely staff. Lots of nice restaurants nearby like Dosa by Ruvi. The area feels safe and there are also a few supermarkets if you need anything. The room has both a fan and AC.

It was the perfect little place to stay, we were only there for one night but the host was really nice. He messaged me before hand and made sure we got there safe. There was a lovely restaurant around the corner and it’s located in a nice quiet area. The rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfortable.

The AC is extremely old and impossible to regulate, it was not cleaned for ages so even tougt it was set to 29'c i woke up with a sore throat. The ceeling fan was extremely dirty. Also the room itself could be cleaner. I would recommend to choose one of the other rooms, they are much better and cleaner.

The hotel is good we stayed in other rooms and we were happy with that. Unfortunately this room is not as good as other rooms. The bathroom is clean, the water pressure very good. They provide shower gel and shampoo.

Clean, nice room with everything needed, comfy bed, has aircon and an easy location to get to. Dulaj was very good at communication before, during and after the stay to make sure I was safe and got to where I needed to go.

I landed in Sri Lanka yesterday and spent my first night in this sweet hotel and was so warmly welcomed! Dulaj was my host and looked after me from the first minute. As a woman travelling alone, I arrived very insecure and didn't really dare to go out (as it was already dark). Dulaj seemed to sense this and instantly offered to walk with me to another hostel so that I could have something to eat there. He took me there and back home again in the evening - I find this gesture incredible and really appreciate it! In the morning I got a delicious smoothie bowl for breakfast, which was included in the price and is highly recommended. The hotel is also very nice, quiet, very clean and has a great bathroom with a hot shower!

It was not like on the pictures, it could be cleaner. We found dead bugs in the wardrobe and lots of ants, also the air conditioning didn't looked clean.

Spacious, clean room with comfortable bed. Good value hotel in quiet location but convenient for buses into the centre. Also shops nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic kitchen is useful with outdoor seating area.

The area was far from everything - you have to take a Tuk Tuk or bus everywhere, which is fine.. I just prefer to be central and walk around

Beware of tuk tuk extra expenses that are not voiced. It's really not much, but if you're on a tight budget it could be frustrating. Making things transparent would be helpful and garner trust for customers.

Host was fantastic, Dulaj and very welcoming and helpful. Even went to get me some watermelon and chocolate when I arrived and booked me a tuk tuk tour. Be aware of the tuk tuk tours, as although they are good, there is extra expenses along the way and this is actually pretty normal in Sri Lanka. I would go back to the accomodation again as Dulaj and the other staff were very helpful. Room is decent and nice and quiet.

Did not realize we booked a room with a private bathroom not connected to room. Bathroom was also small and completely wet after a shower (thankfully drys quickly overnight)

Lovely and accommodating staff and on site and available at all times, comfortable room with good air conditioning and fan, spacious upstairs shared tables and balcony, partially equipped kitchen for basic cooking or food storage, quiet lane and pleasant architecture and greenery surrounding.

I liked the cozy rooms and the hospitality of the host. The location was good but the passageway was dimly lit which made it a little difficult for us to track the place. However I would suggest this place for a night or two.
