So comfortable and clean, they really have thought of everything! Lovely pool and peaceful green oasis not far from the Main Street. The family & staff are so lovely and welcoming, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, rooms clean and comfortable. We cannot fault our stay! Excellent air con & WiFi. They even kindly gave us a lift to the bus. Thank you so much!

Very welcoming hosts and good breakfast! The bathroom had water leaking from the tiles and we had to mop it after every shower... I did feel that it wasn't very clean as we had spider nets everywhere. Great garden ans swimming pool!

Spend here great time! It is wonderful, quite garden away from the main road and noice. The host was very friendly and helping who gave a lift to some touristic spots, arranged taxi to another city and arranged safari tour. The room was clean and tidy. The nature is facinating. Highly recommended!

Loved every detail about this place.

Family friendly place. Loved the place, good value for the money and good breakfast. The owner took us to show few places without any charge and found us a good tuk tuk driver for our sightseeing. Nice family. Will come again.

Nothing. If I had to mention one thing, the shower water wasn’t very hot. But it was ok for me.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights during my solo trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the beautiful courtyard, which felt like a forest, was home to giant squirrels, birds, and even owls. What made my stay truly special was the hospitality of the owner and his wife. They kindly arranged a tuk-tuk and a safari for me, and even took me on a drive to the lake in their car. I would love to stay here again!

Very nice hotel, great pool, super nice man of the house, lady of the house and staff. Definitelly recommended for stay in Dambulla. Outside of the rush road but still in city centre. Peace garden. Breakfast was amazing!

it was the best stay we experienced during our travels throuhg Sri Lanka. The owners were extremely helpful and frienly. They helped us a lot. The breakfast was freshly made and delicious. Te bungalow is surrounded by plants and trees just next to the swimming pool, they even had a sauna.

From the moment I arrived, Chandi and his wife welcomed me with warmth and kindness. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated how they introduced me to other guests, making me feel right at home. They even offered me a ride to the Golden Temple and connected me with a fantastic Tuk Tuk driver who took me on a full-day tour, allowing me to explore the breathtaking sites around Dambulla. The breakfast was delicious, and every time I spent time in the common area, they ensured I had great company and engaging conversations. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Dambulla!

The property was very clean and the owner and staff very welcoming. The breakfast was good and the pool a plus (it even had a Jacuzzi at one end and there was a sauna and steam room though we did not use it. The property is expanding and is work in progress but that did not detract from our stay at all.

A peaceful oasis in Dambulla, just off the Main Street. The hosts were exceptional - cooling drink on arrival, very chatty and a huge breakfast - especially liked the hoppers with egg!

We loved our stay at the Gala Addara Hotel! The hotel is located in a quiet side street, grocery stores and restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms are very clean and cozy, we had a little terrace space in front of the room with lounge chairs which were a great spot to relaxing and enjoying the shade. The pool was a very nice add-on and gave us the true resort feeling. Overall the garden around the pool is beautiful, truely an oasis! The breakfast was great as well - fresh fruit, egg hoppers, and the hosts were super caring and comforting, making sure that we were happy! They even helped us with our laundry (thanks again!). Both Sigiriya and the Dambulla cave Tempel are just a short ride away from the hotel. 11/10 - we would definitely come back and are kinda sad we only had 2 nights in the hotel!

It would be unreasonable to expect city WiFi! It is more than adequate but be prepared and perhaps buy an eSIM before travelling, just in case.

The hotel is a little oasis in the midst of Dambulla. Perfectly situated to visit Sigirya, Polonnaruwa and the Dambulla caves. Our rooms were charming; set in magical gardens with a beautiful swimming pool. Best of all were the owners and staff. Chandima went out of his way (literally, as he took us into town to get food and to the caves!) to help us and he and his wife were incredibly welcoming. One special mention for Nishi, who makes the best egg hoppers in Sri Lanka, and whose breakfasts fuel you for the long day of sightseeing ahead! A huge thank you from the three of us.

The hosts of the property arranged a special safari tour for us and that was magical. Saw elephants and many other wildlife.

Peaceful, serene location in the heart of the town so close to the Dambulla Cave Temple. Amazing garden, helpful, friendly staff and simple yet clean and comfortable rooms. We had a lovely stay

The people here are so nice! They helped us to get to personal driver to Sigiriya and also helped us to get on the bus to Colombo! They are very lovely people. The room and breakfast are great too! The outdoor landscapes are definitely a plus point to this stay!
