Couldn't of asked for more- brilliant location, facilities that were clean and well maintained. The staff were beyond helpful, going above and beyond helping organise various bookings for myself and other guests as well as taking us out to see the nightlife. The atmosphere they've created is very chill and super positive.

The hostel has all the necessary amenities. It is located right across the street from the Mirissa beach. The manager Phillip is very nice and helpful. He arranged a whale watching trip and provided all the information on other places and activities of interest.

We stayed at the hangover hostel for two days and everything was really Good. The Hostel is very simple but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. But the best about the hostel is Marc the host, he is a really nice and helpful guy who gave us many advices and organises everything you Want to do during your stay.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Hangover Hostel in Mirissa, and I honestly can't recommend it. The place had a lot of potential, but it completely fell short in almost every way. First off, the cleanliness was appalling. The bathrooms were dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the common areas. The sheets felt unwashed, and I even found a few stains on them. The room was basic, but not in a charming, minimalist way—instead, it just felt rundown and neglected. I had more than 30 mosquito bites every night, no mosquito net. The dorm is so small you can barely walk on the Flor. Very small window. The staff was another huge letdown. Not only were they unhelpful, but they also seemed disinterested in providing any sort of service. There was a general lack of hospitality, and whenever I asked for recommendations or assistance, they either ignored me or gave half-hearted answers. It's as if they were more focused on their own issues than guest satisfaction. The noise level was unbearable. The hostel is supposedly a "party" hostel, but the noise went on until early in the morning, and it made it impossible to sleep. If you're looking for rest, this is definitely not the place for you. On top of all that, the location, while close to the beach, didn't make up for the lack of basic comforts and hospitality. With so many other places in Mirissa to choose from, I can't imagine why anyone would willingly stay here. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and exhausted. For the price, I expected much better. I would definitely not return, and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. There are definitely better options In the area to choose from.

The entire hostel was not clean. There were ants in the room and the washrooms. The bed was dilapidated. Electricity was getting disconnected often. There was only 1 helper and cleaning was not done regularly. The door of our room was dilapidated and we had to lock it in order to shut it. It was a super bad experience and the owners seriously needs to improve the hostel. Photos of the hostel shared on booking.com are misleading My experience was aweful

The hostel is currently undergoing renovations, so most of it is closed off, meaning you won’t find any people there—we were the only guests during our stay. The facilities are really lacking; the rooms and bathrooms are old and outdated and the showers in the shared bathrooms weren’t working. The hostel wasn’t very clean, and there were a lot of bugs (mosquitoes and ants). The only positive aspects were the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the location, which is close to the beach.

Smallest dorm room I have ever stayed in 6years of travelling.. hardly any room to move around. Bathrooms are constantly dirty and water all over the floor. Do not use the kitchen! Filthy and a health hazard. Chopping boards smell like a rotting corpse..WiFi was very weak in the room.

Bed was comfortable. Adapter was provided. Close to everything.

- The mouldiest bathroom I've ever seen. The ceiling and shower curtain was full of disgusting black mould. - Mosquitoes in the room (with no mosquito nets on the beds) meant getting heaps of bites throughout the night. - 6 bed dorm was very cramped with little space for everyone's stuff. The locker was dirty and had a musty smell. - Noisy and not much of an atmosphere as the common area is right by the main road and not a very relaxing or inviting place to hang out.

Located across the road from the beach and some nice restaurants. The shower had good water and pressure. Cheap and affordable if you're on a budget.
