There was no restaurant for food

One of the best choices to stay In Peradeniya. The river and mountains were picturesque. Good place to enjoy the nature with a clean room. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. I will definitely book this place in my next holiday

Bathroom needs updating. Needs a good clean.

The view from the room of the river was amazing. The bathroom needed some TLC. Great for one night. The restaurant had very limited food, basic, no drinks. Nice to have tea and coffee making things in the room. Great to watch birds and listen to the river life from room/ small balcony.

There was no water supply in the morning when we stayed. The staffs arranged us an alternate room to take bath and gave us a discount in the final billing.

The property had a very good view of the lake. Rooms were very comfortable. Wi-Fi coverage was good. The staffs were so friendly and very helpful.

Quite basic room with outdated interior. The fake plants and bad lighting made leaving on the morning especially Nice.

The over-all friendliness of the staff made up for second-rate accommodation. Very funny but necessary warning texts in the room, for not going to swim in the river (crocs) and locking the doors or the monkeys will mess with your stuff. No warnings for lots of ants in the room though.

Unhelpful staff and unclean, very smelly rooms. The whole place had a very bad smell, even all my clothes had a horrible smell after one nights stay. There were loads of ants on the table near the kettle. Then to top it off our tuk tuk had a flat tyre in the morning and while we were trying to change the spare wheel the two young lads that work in the hotel sat and watched while my partner physically lifted the tuk tuk by himself while I changed the wheel. This was our worst experience of people while we were the country as everyone else we had met had been very kind but not at this place. Location was well out of the way only gf one place to eat at which wasn’t great. I defiantly wouldn’t recommend this place. We stayed in a £5 room on the coast with cleaner rooms and very sweet kind staff so this place is not worth the money we paid!!

There were little ants that ate our snack for the next day and a squeeky bed. But overall it was great!

The staff was very friendly, the view was great. There was a kettle with tea and coffee and sugar, so you can make yourself a drink. The distance to the train station is ok.

A/C is out of control. The balcony door is insecure as the lock is broken. The door of the shower cubicle is broken and the hot water taps are not working at times. Satellite tv is not working properly and remotes are not working. The management lacks any decency.
