Lovely quiet property set in very tranquil gardens. Rooms were very comfortable. Meals were very tasty. Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful.

Nothing special

First of all, the staff is absolutely lovely. Travelling just with my little girl, we got upgraded to the family room, larger from the one I'd originally booked. The room is spacious, simple and confortable. The only downside is the bathroom where a few details could be fixed / arranged / cleaned. Nothing that was an issue for us though. We used the lovely swimming pool (that might be a bit tiny if the hotel is full) and enjoyed it. We had dinner on spot and the food was absolutely delicious. Every single dish was really tasty, and same again with breakfast in the morning after. The staff is adorable, doing everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. On another note, my girl flipflop got eaten at night by monkeys 😅. Staff says it sometimes happen, so maybe they could recommend everyone to keep their shoes in.

For European standards, the bath would need some adjustments, but perfectly Ok for the type and price of this hotel.

The staff were super welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good and abundant. The swimming pool clean and beautiful, with a nice garden to chill. Our room, with two large beds, was spacious and clean, perfect for a family of four. Comfortable beds. We had dinner onsite one night and it was also very tasty and correctly priced. If we had to come back, we would definitively repeat the same hotel.

When we visited it was quiet but only seven rooms were open. It could get busier once the current renovations are completed to allow 14 rooms. I would ask for a room near the garden and away from the pool.

A two story motel style building located 30 min by tuk tuk from town down a quiet side lane in a coconut plantation setting with a good clean pool. Quiet. friendly. Clean. AC works well. Good restaurant on site - rice curry is best so far in 3 weeks. There is local helpful guide with a green tuk tuk who lives 100m down the lane. Suggestion: we hired bicycles from Sun City Cycles at the entrance to the ancient city. A great way to explore for a whole day some of the less crowded ruins.

Bit far away from the archeological sites. Currently doing renovations which made the relax around the pool rather noisy.

Beautiful garden with a nice pool. Staff was extemely helpfull and friendly. Probably the most frendly staff we ever encountered. Surely recommend this hotel ! The tour we booked to the national park, was well organised by the hotel.

Nothing to complain, lovely place!

What a gem! The staff is extremely friendly and devoted to giving you the absolute best time possible - Prasanna is an absolute top notch host and will go above and beyond for you. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, comfortable and clean. The pool is refreshing after a full day of temple hopping (ask for Jaya as your Tuktuk guide, he is THE best!!), and the restaurant is amazing. Don’t let the fact that there’s little restaurant choices in the area pass on this accommodation; you’re not going to have an easy time finding better food than they serve here anyways. We loved our stay here, and would absolutely come back!

Perfect place to start our trip in Sri Lanka, very peaceful. Upali the manager and lovely staff who are super helpful. They arranged bicycles for us to use, taxis with a really friendly driver called Sumit, and a tuktuk tour of the sacred city/Mihintale with a very knowledgable guide called Sava. Delicious food, great atmosphere in the hotel restaurant, the pool is fantastic for chilling out and cooling down.

Location was a bit far from restaurants and shops. You need a tuktuk or taxi. We were not satisfied at all by the guides provided by the hotel.
