Hot tub with the best view! Spotlessly clean room, the bed is really comfy. Fantastic service and very helpful stuff. I celebrated my birthday and they surprized me with a cake :)

Great architecture, great hospitality. The room was fantastic, and meals are also great. I really enjoy the pool and just staying, walking around inside. Every space has great view.

Amazing hotel. Very comfortable, great cuisine, huge spaces, excellent services, unique swimming pools...and nature. Building of hotel is hidden in the forest. An unforgettable place. On the other hand - two nights of relaxation was enough.

The food was average. Nothing special. The buffet had to many things. Better to scale down a raise the quality. A bit overpriced for the things they generally offer.

Great architecture. Great location on top of the lake. Wonderful rooms with stunning view. Nice pool to cool of. Built into the landscape, animals really near.

some of the facilities in the room (jacuzzi) do not work and the staff isn’t attentive about it. the pools have been renovated and not as per the original design of bawa, a bit of shame to see the color of water very different from the original design

It's a nice and beautiful hotel. it was built in a cave with green surrounding everywhere. Nice and peaceful, staff is really hospitality and lovely. love to stay here, we had a wonderful time there.

Food. Was. HORRID... For the price mainly. The buffet sometimes had old bread once from what I noticed. Stale essentially. For Vegetarians, there's just "enough" but for the price, not that worth it. I wouldn't even mind spending a bit more IF IT MEANT QUALITY! They over-compensated with quantity but no quality. The Sri Lankan section was good though, just not everything else. Even ordering from the Menu is not worth the price.

Amazing Room! The biggest highlight and 90% of what you're spending on! Just brilliant and beautiful! The Bonus is the extremely patient and excellent Hospitality shown by the restaurant. It easily made up for everything else that went wrong with the food there. Also, their Banana Bread is AMAZING! Pick some up and other goodies they have like their Jams and stuff.

The check-in process was a bit weird. First they take you to the lobby (which is not in the main entrance) to do the registration And then you have to go back to the main entrance to do the payment in the cashier. After hours of travelling with a toddler it just felt exhausting to have to do this process. The bathroom had a smell. It smelled like pee that was not cleaned well.

Room was great. Bed was comfortable. Location and view was excellent. Great selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Some hit or miss with regards to food (beef always tough. Some items undercooked) but otherwise great. Local food selection was extremely delicious and we enjoyed trying it out. We chose this because my toddler loves animals and it did not disappoint. He saw monkeys in our balcony and everywhere around the property.

personnel is very stingy, and liars, wanted to charge extra for room upgrade, due to in availability for the pre booked room, but we were not even informed regarding the upgrade; they didn’t want to give free welcome drink the next morning as well (we arrived late night, and didn’t want to have welcome drink at night)

the hotel is located in the jungles habitat by monkeys on the lakeside, the view is fantastic

Beautifully located in the middle of the jungle by a lake. Great place to escape, zen out. Rooms are tasteful. Buffet had a decent variety of options. prices of rooms are great for what you get.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location. Staff so friendly. When I mentioned that it was my husbands birthday, the young lady in the cafe had a delicious birthday cake sent to our room. Such a thoughtful touch.

Overly complex arrival arrangements - could have been handled by lovely reception staff rather than somewhat officious accountant in separate office. Also no towels in room on arrival.

Great room, great facilities, wonderful location. Advice and help from woman who was senior staff person/ tour advisor at reception desk was enthusiastic and very helpful.
