Breakfast could have been a bit better but there are plenty of options within a 5 minute walk.

Great location - right next to town but you still get a great view. Hotel was child friendly and easy to find. The owner / manager was very helpful providing a tour map / suggested how to spend the day.

If you want Sri Lankan breakfast you need to order the day before. I didn't realize this the first day, but got it ordered for the second day. Western breakfast is ready every day.

Quiet place with a stunning view. Just up a short hill at the foot of town so very easy to walk to the main road for coffee, dinner, etc. The family was so nice and helpful. Just ask them, and they are happy to help. Also do 12 hour turnaround on laundry. Great value spot and cool little town. Well worth the price.

Nice guesthouse on a great and quiet location really close to the vibrant part of Ella Town. The host was very welcoming and provided great tips for the area. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean. And the view on Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock from the roof terrace is amazing.

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was clean, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation has a great location. All the restaurants were close, the bus stopp was just 5 minutes away and the sights were also not that far away.

Fabulous view from breakfast and rooftop terraces. Friendly, helpful staff..provided hand drawn map of area and key points of interest (I recommend main path through woods not short cut to Nine Arch Bridge) . Good location to walk into town and to Little Adam's Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and Ella's Rock.Delicious breakfast. Kettle in room.

The hammocks on the rooftop turned us into salami. We love a good hammock but unfortunately these were very uncomfortable.

Only feedback I could perhaps include is maybe to have the room made/cleaned each day? But one of the nights, when I did ask them to remove a gecko from my room, they did then ask if I wanted my room cleaned so I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem if you asked!

Location was perfect! 5 minute walk from the main strip and walking distance to Ella rock, little Adam’s peak, none arch bridge. Staff were lovely and went above and beyond. When we arrived the host gave us all information regarding activities locally. It was my birthday and she surprised me with a hamper! Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I usually require a/c but the fan provided was sufficient and with the window open it cooled down in the evening as Ella is slightly cooler at night.

This was also a magical place on our trip to Sri Lanka. Superhospitable staff, amazing breakfast with among others best cheese and egg sandwiches and curd with honey. Amazing dinner also. In front of your room there are comfortable seats to rest and enjoy the greenery all around. Then, there is an amazing rooftop place with the best view ever. Sunrises and sundowns. Magical. I highly recommend this place. In your room there is everything you need, an A/C, a hairdryer, a small fridge, drinkable water, cozy beds, hot shower, everything is clean and tidy. Amazing place, wish we had more days there. 10/10.

the owner (i think she was the owner) was super nice and responsive. Our arrival got delayed by 3 hours and she was very understanding. She also gives great recommendations. The location is perfect. Probably the best in Ella: its 2 minutes down the hill to reach the main street. in ella the mainstream is noisy and loud and busy and i wouldnt want to stay there but in the hilltop you are very close to all the restaurants without hearing the noise all night. We were really happy with our room and the ammenities.
