Wow…where to start? The place is gorgeous! The host/artist has poured her heart and talent into this place with great effect. We loved our room and the view of Lake Gregory. The host is very responsive to guest needs…she is a very hard worker. The best bed we’ve had in Sri Lana. It’s a terrific value.

That we had to leave!

Where do I begin…. We walked into what can only be described as a truly magical testament to the mildly surrealist genius that is Heidi’s mind Every single inch is a piece of art, each wall a slightly psychedelic masterpiece that somehow go together perfectly. The art is only half the story. Heidi is charm personified and could not be more helpful. The second you meet her you feel she is a deep kind soul. Who you somehow feel blessed to have met. Onto more mundane things The beds bedding and duvets are the cosiest I think I have ever slept and the breakfast was excellent All in all an exceptional experience Thank you Heidi….you made something magical here.

Breakfast was a very good-size portion, but a bit heavy!

A very interesting place to stay! The rooms are all painted by Heidi and when you meet her you can see her artistic streak. She is very friendly and will advise you on whatever you need. The room was a good size, comfortable and very clean. The only problem (which I think is due to the town itself) is that everything was quite damp/humid. We were given a heater in the room and that helped us keep warm when we were in bed.

The location is a bit far from the city centre, but its a nice stroll, and otherwise Heidi will arrange a tuktuk!

Heidi is a lovely person who will make you feel at home! She helps you with arranging tours, her food is delicious, the room is very big, the shower hot and the bed comfortable! We would definitely recommend this place!

The house was so nicely decorated! I felt in a fairytale! The rooms are really big and cosy and have all facilities. In nuwara eliya it can get cold sometimes but the shower has hot water and its very amazing. The hotel owner Heidi is such a lovely and friendly woman who really takes care of you! We had dinner at the hotel and it was honestly one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka so far. The same could be said for the breakfast! We also went one day to horton plains very early and heidi made us a take away breakfast!

Because of the rain our room felt colt and wet.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in the reviews for this amazing place?! Heidi is adorable, so welcoming, friendly and genuine, a star, full of ideas and recommendations to make your stay in Nuwara Eliya a good one. Serendipity is unlike any other place you’ll have stayed - decorated completely by Heidi’s own hand. A photo opportunity at every corner, inside and out! The rooms are beautifully painted, mine had a large comfortable bed, equipped with refrigerator, kettle, tea / coffee etc, tv, hairdryer and a heater should you need it. Wifi signal was fine in the room as well as downstairs in the common area. It’s a vegetarian hotel which suited me perfectly, breakfast was so tasty and varied compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in the area. I am already planning to return ❤️

It would be better if the breakfast is freshly made instead of warming the meal up in the microwave, because the bread will be soft.

The internet was sluggish at times

Heidi was a great host. The room was huge with a sitting area separated from the bedroom. The room had a mini fridge and was stocked with bottled water. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were provided. The electric water heater worked great. The heavy comforter kept me warm and toasty on those cold and rainy Nuwara Eliya nights. The room had a small balcony with a view of the lake. There was another sitting area just outside the room. The breakfast was very good and filling. The music at breakfast was very relaxing. The photos don't do justice to the artwork displayed throughout the home and the room.

The Internet signal was weak.

The friendly staff and the house itself were just amazing! The decor was amazing, and Heidis was very sweet and willing to help us with the laundry. She is a hard-working woman and a very talented artist. We hope to see her soon.

One of the showers was not working properly and the water was cold
