please be aware this hotel was located right on main street with multiple late night bars located close by. the loud music will go late, and the traffic noise will go even later.

hotel and restaurant are located smack in the center of town with a Bank of Ceylon atm (no transaction fees) downstairs. the room is cheap and cheerful and the balcony is a shared terrace with furniture overlooking the main street. Now the best bit, the attached restaurant is very good quality and our included breakfast was one of the best we had in sri lanka. Make sure you have one meal here if you are staying in Ella

The room was immaculately cleaned. The bed linen was gleaming white and had a pleasant scent. I had everything I needed for a comfortable sleepover, including a well-stocked bathroom, an air conditioner, and a room that was well-sealed, eliminating any risk of spiders or insects.

Location right in the main strip is great, it does come with a lot of noise which is the only downside. The staff are amazing along with incredible food.

There was a real bad sewage smell in bathroom and water was just about warm.

Great location (though have earplugs ready) ! Big room, comfy bed with mosquito net & while terrace is shared with other guests, it's nice to have.

The room is a bit dark, because there is covered (top) verandah in front and windows are opaque.

It is in the town center, 5-10 minute walk to the train station. Local bus station is in front of it. Our room is basic, clean and tidy. There is a mosquito net around the bed. We also had access to a verandah in front. It is on the main street along with shops and restaurants. A nice old couple runs the place. Its central location is very convenient and it has a very reasonable price. As it is in the centre it can be noisy because of the music and traffic. We didn't mind it...it depends on what you expect. And there is a little steep staircase to the restaurant and then to the rooms so bear that in mind. Overall it is nice and budget friendly.

The water pressure was not strong. Warm water could have been warmer. It is too bad that Ella has changed so much. The Main Street is so loud and polluted. Will not be a great stay for the light sleeper..

It is right in the center of Ella and we had easy access to everything. The owners are lovely and very attentive.

I booked this hotel to attend the restaurants cookery lesson. I had eaten in its restaurant on several previous occasions and found the food incredible.

Being so close to the main street and all the music played there makes the room quite noisy. Also, the WiFi was unfunctional most of the time

It's a beautiful room right on the main road close to everything. The facilities are very useful. I mostly liked the big balcony

No noise isolation. The hotel is on a busy street with bars, right across the street is a karaoke bar and there was someone singing horribly all night, all the noise makes its way into your bed. I was up all night. Early in the morning buses and cars started coming and going. There are no good curtains so the room is very bright at night from the signboards. The fan and the canopy over the bed need to be cleaned
