There was mold on the walls and dust on the table. The water was leaking in the bathroom. The sound was annoying at times.

The hotel's location, considering that it was close to the city center and Kandy Lake, had a steep slope and we had to take a taxi to get back to the hotel. However, the other hotel services were so good that this problem could be overlooked.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very polite. They helped us with our luggage and were friendly and helpful whenever we asked for directions. It had a great view of the city and the hotel smelled very nice.

Maybe a light switch next to the bed or a bed lamp would be a plus.

It was a good stay. The location is ideal as Kandy city is really really loud and chaotic. You will be 5 minutes from the city with an amazing view and you will be able to sleep and enjoy the main area if you want to read or else. The only thing is the pictures of the room in booking that are not linked to the real room. I asked to see the room before hopefully as it was not the one selected on booking, much smaller and darker. Nice enough, they let me have another room once explained. The family is really helpful.

Bathroom is full of mold. The view is from the hallway and not the room directly.

Room is huge, bed is confortable with good AC.

The room had no window - just a glass partition from a common area. and there were ants. There was a bad smell in the bathroom.

It was a nice central location and the staff were helpful. They cleaned the room when we found ants in the bathroom. The laundry service was good. The common area had a nice view

WiFi didn’t work in the room so I had to sit in the foyer for a signal to contact home and check social media. Parking - although it said parking was available, it was always full of cars so our wee Tuk Tuk couldn’t get in. Everything else was good.

Room was great - room 101. Clean, spacious and the views were breathtaking! It is up a long steep hill so unless you are fit or have a Tuk Tuk as we did, it will be a struggle to reach.

Up a big hill, about 20 minute walk into town but we knew this anyways. Have to pay to use the pool table which I think is abit cheeky if your staying there

It was quite noisy as the bathroom had ventilation shaft to reception room. There was no free toiletries as per room description. You have to ask for hair dryer each time you want to use it and bring it back to the reception.

They offered laundry service and it went fine. City panorama view from corridor next to the rooms.

The bed was a bit smaller than we expected and the cleanliness could improve. The wash room and the showering area was a bit small. The television had only local channels no satellite tv.

View was beautiful and the antique type look of the hotel was lovely. The staff and the facilities were good. It was worth for the money. The hot water and the A/C was good.

Breakfast has to be ordered 1 hour before. This fact should have been emphasised. We did not read the stickers on the mirror and missed to order. We have to leave property without breakfast

I was given a bedroom located right under the reception and lobby, therefore I could hear the lobby's same music being played continuously from there. Also there was a group of guests that kept moving their chairs just above my bedroom besides being very loud, and the noise was really annoying. Hot water lasted just a couple of minutes then went cold.

Location is good because not in the center while being close enough (walking distance) to the center. Also close to a nice temple (entrance fee: 300 rupees). Great view. Very comfy and large bed, electric mosquito repellent and adapter in the bedroom.

A lovely little hotel nestled in the hills a little above Kandy. Lovely views. Not too far from the town, you can still walk in. The laundry service was excellent as was the help from reception.
