Maybe something to hang for the shower towels would be nice. :)
We could give 10 stars for this amazing stay. We did not expect much and were completely overwhelmed by both the service and the fabulous accommodation. We had a very warm welcome with hot towels, ice tea and luggage carrying service. The rooms are super spacious and absolutely clean (we got an upgrade :), but all rooms looked very nice). The best we got in Sri Lanka by far! Western Standard with Sri Lankan hospitality! 🙏🏻☺️ Pool was also very nice to take a swim and afterwards you can have a cocktail in the shaded lobby outdoors. Hotel is located in a very calm area, walking distance to town. The food served at the restaurant was absolutely delicious at very reasonable prices. Also breakfast was amazing, you can choose between Sri Lankan and Western breakfast. The hotel manager was always around to ask how we are doing. He and all the staff were extraordinary friendly and helpful. We cannot understand negative reviews - in that case - these might be FAKE. We highly recommend staying at Kevans Casa on the way between Sigirya and Ella. Thank you so much again! 🙏🏻

There was nothing we didn’t like as such. However, I would suggest more local Sri Lankan food on the menu. I would also suggest finding a way of ensuring for bedrooms overlooking the pool and reception area to enjoy more privacy.
The property is well appointed with very helpful and courteous staff. Pradeep the GM was v attentive and always available to help if needed. An unforgettable experience was breakfast by the lake with Lahiru as a guide. He was very helpful, polite and courteous. This experience will stay in our minds for a long time.

Lots of bugs and flys but that is because of the weather and location
Kevan's house was super accomodating and the staff was really nice. I am vegan and they were able to make Sri Lankan breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious.

Continental breakfast was served cold. I think it was cooked a couple of hours prior. Also couldn't open the bedroom curtain because it overlooked the dining area ( no privacy)!

Whilst there was a wardrobe, no hangers were provided.
Stayed for one night in July 2023. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. The room had air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. The bed was comfortable. There was no mosquito net, but I wasn't bothered by, nor, noticed any mosquitoes. However, the reception did request that the doors opening to a small balcony be kept closed in the evening. The room had a tv, fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. Water was provided in clay jugs, which was a nice touch, as well as keeping the water cool. The Sri Lankan breakfast I had was tasty and consisted of the main dish and tea / coffee. The hotel also has a pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a nice, comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotel to stay in. Recommended.

Would prefer some privacy in pool area.
The hotel was stunning. They welcomed us warmly with a lovely hearbal tea. Rooms and bathrooms are perfect. The staff was attentive and helpful. Special Thanks to Lahiru for his cordial service. Foods were delicious.

I focus on activities so I don’t mind the space and view of hotel.

The lobby is nice and when you arrive the set up is like a fancy hotel, but the staff are so poorly trained that we had multiple problems. The rooms are small and the bathroom minute, also we had problems with our food; they served lukewarm coffee and undercooked eggs for breakfast - both had to be sent back. For dinner our fish was also undercooked and had to be sent back. This hotel is too expensive for the experience they offer
There are comfortable seats in the lobby and the pool is nice. There's hot water in the shower and the staff are pleasant

Nothing much to see in Mahiyangana and should have stuck with original plan to stop over at Ella or Nuwara Eliya
Quiet location that broke our journey from Yala Park to Kandy. Good food in the evening and breakfast.

There is nothing to dislike about Kevans Casa
The food was amazing,we booked for bed and breakfast but we should have booked for half board not that it made any difference but next time we stay here we will book half board( there will be a next time!)It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and I arranged with the staff for a birthday cake, but Lahira suggested it be taken into the jungle as we were visiting the Vedda village that night, Dilan took the cake on his motorbike and the Vedda people presented it to my husband.We also went to the waterfall with Lahiru which was breathtaking.The staff especially Lahiru and Dillon are absolutely amazing.I strongly recommend a stay here, it’s Fabulous!!
