We had a fantastic stay at Kismet Rest Mirissa for two days! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the centre of all the main attractions, making it easy to explore Mirissa. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Mirissa!

The air conditioning unit was very noisy.

The apartment we had was large and comfortable. Kismet is centrally located near to the beach and many restaurants, cafes and shops. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a large fridge and kettle and the shower was good.

I would appreciate an offer for breakfast or so but the kitchen is not open during a low season.

Staff was very nice and booked a whale-watching tour for me for wit fair price (tuk-tuk to/from the port included. Location is within a short walking distance to "city" beaches-5min or "secret beach"-20min. My stay was during a low season so I was almost the only quest and the place was very quiet.

No mosquito net. No hot water (but I did not ask for it). The cleanliness (seams I had this problem at almost all properties). Would of been nice to have a kettle and glasses/cups, and some dishes in the room, to be able to prepare a snack and a tea.

Location is good, beach is close by, so are shops and restaurants, and public transportation. Not on the main road, so quiet. It was still off season (this is not the owners fold - just for info!) so the restaurant was not open yet, but I got a tea for breakfast, on the house. Good AC. God WIFI.

The staff were extremely helpful and were reachable at any given point of time during our stay . The room was so clean and spacious . The most wonderful thing about Kismet is that it's very close to the beaches (including secret beach) . The breakfast was nice as well.

The bathroom was smelling badly but that was only due to very heavy rainfall everywhere and got cleaned up very quickly by one of the staff.

It is a very nice and quiet place and very close to the beach. Johann and his mother are very friendly people and helped me out when my card didn't work.

Was pretty unorganised. They let us book a room that was not even finished. It was full with mold. Luckily we where a bigger group so we could go together in rooms but one of us need to sleep on the floor on a mattress

Mosquitos were everywhere near dining hall and terrace, but this may be a problem in whole Mirissa.

When ordering food there is some waiting, so you should have time to order and wait. If you are planning to go out in the morning, tell the staff the evening before at what time you want breakfast.

This Hostel/rest/guesthouse is owned and run by a very nice Sri Lankan family! They are super welcoming and helpful. They gave many tips and were always available. There were also local workers who were really nice. The room was big and clean with AC. There are not so many rooms, so it’s a calm and quiet place. Not very social with other guests, but we spent a lot of time with one of the hosts, Johan. The breakfast was included and very nice! We even got a juice:) Also good location in Merissa. Close to everything we needed.
