Be careful about price - in first view on booking.com is basic price only. Information about 10% service fee is under next link (note about price). Service fee is for breakfast too - together we payed 7,70 USD for 1 breafast - in my opinion is very high price for this hotel level.

Very good location for Negombo beach swimming. Aprox. 250 meters (through Jetwings hotel) to sea, but very different price, than hotels directly on beach. Clear beach. Pool - outside was more than 35, pool was nicely fresh. And with beer was ideal :-) Airport transfer free. Friendly staff.

The hot water was a little unreliable, although it wasn't a huge issue for us in a hot country. The beds are a little basic and creaked whenever you moved even a little bit.

The rooms were very clean, the pool and breakfast were both great. The staff were lovely and picked us up very late at night despite delays to both our flight and picking up our bags. It was only a short walk down to the beach and a nice outdoor market for dinner.

Nothing really, just ok hotel.

The free airport service is the best, seriously good arranged. From hotel to airport 27 min drive in the morning at 06.45, swimming pool was nice, nothing fancy but good to chill and relax before flying.

On entering my room I found there were no amenities in the bathroom or the living space and I even though on booking.com the room was supposed to have a closet/wardrobe there isn't any! This was however quickly rectified when the young man who works there brought me all the amenities I needed and the rest of the stay was fine and catered for. I had to make do without a wardrobe but since I was on a short stay it was fine. Wifi here is my ONLY disappointment! It's almost non existent, I was on the second floor and got next to NO wifi at all, I had to depend on my phone hotspot for all my communication needs. And the TV in the room was Hilariously Tiny! 😂 Lastly, the water pressure from the shower and other toilet faucets is very very weak and low.

On arrival you're greeted by friendly staff, the reception and common area is spacious well decorated and is more than one could expect from a Hotel. I will repeat that the Staff specially Ayani and the young gentleman who work the front desk and even the owner is always around and always willing to assist in any way they can. The food they serve is delicious and made fresh, the pool is decently sized and the location is perfect with shops, restaurants and other amenities around and it's just a 5 minute walk from the lovely Negombo Beach.

They charge double price for any tours in Negombo . Do not buy travel service inside hotel . Restaurant menu is very limited .

We only stayed for our last day in Sri Lanka, on route to the airport. It had a pool, good location close to the beach and restaurants, was clean and comfortable. They had a free shuttle to the airport which was a great bonus. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

I really liked my two night stay here. Room was large with nice outlook iof palm trees. Hot water and Aircon worked. There was a kettle. Room was very clean. The staff were fantastic.. friendly helpful and organised. The free airport shuttle was completely on time. The breakfasts were really really good..one western one Sri Lankan.. delicious. Location is close to main beach street, shops, cafes etc

It could have been more well maintained. It was getting a bit old. The sheets were a bit balling, and could be replaced, pillow not that comfortable. Mattress okay. No hot water - they are on a solar system but they turn to gas when weather is bad… however it always took 30-1hr to warm up, and I was there one night and wasn’t able to get a hot shower. I guess trying to save money but there were lots of guest staying so I imagine they would have also liked a hot shower. Pool could be better cleaned

Lovely stay at Leighton Resort. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful! They were very responsive to my request for an airport pick up and were ready waiting to pick me up from Colombo airport even after I had made an error with my flight details. At the hotel, I was treated to a welcome drink and helped to sort out a SIM card for such a good price. Because of my great experience, I booked another 2 nights at the end of my trip! When it was time to head to the airport, it was no problem for a drop off at midnight! I would recommend a stay here at the beginning/ end of your Sri Lankan trip :)

Pool tiles were slimy.

All inclusive pickup on arrival at the airport was appreciated after flight. A great location for first or last night pre or post flight. Accommodation basic but met all our needs. Can have breakfast by pool, at your expense. Staff super helpful and friendly.
