We had an amazing stay at Lush in Ella, the views from the room are incredible and the room is beautifully decorated and very clean. Sanju and Saman were very welcoming and severed lovely breakfast every morning on the balcony. The accommodation is not in the loud centre so they provided a tuk tuk ride for a very reasonable price. It is also a 15 minute walk along the train tracks into town. I would highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it. One of our favourite stays in all of our travels!

Incredible views, very comfortable modern accommodation, felt like an oasis away from very loud busy Main Street in Ella. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and varied daily. Ask the hosts for tuktuk number to get to and from town (only about 5-10 minute drive or 30 minute hilly walk)

Nothing, everything was perfect

This place is incredible :) our best accomodation in Sri Lanka. View is spectacular, we can see Ravana waterfall from bed. Room is very clean, cosy, owners thought about everything: hot shower, fridge, cool glasses and water, shampoo and shower gel, we can use even hairdryer here! Tasty, local breakfast, juices, coffee. Very kind and helpful owners, we felt very comfortable and spent fantastic time here. Highly recommend! Thank you for having us 🌸

The reasons why we give only 9 out of 10 points are 1. the dampness of the room that we couldn't get rid off (to be fair, it also rained heavily on one of our days). All of our clothes were quite damp after our stay. 2. the water pressure was extremely low in the shower. After all the hiking in Ella, a nice relaxing shower would have been the cherry on the top. Also we once found a leech in the shower. 3. Not enough storage to hang clothes or towels. 4. at night, the dog (albeit cute) often scratched and digged at the room windows (first time we were terrified as we didn't know which animal it was and only after asking the owner told us that he had a dog). 5. Because of the location one is kind of dependend on tuktuk transfers by the owner which are 500 LKR each way - however, it was really nice of him to offer this service!

Really beautifully designed room with the most stunning view! The owner is super friendly and took us back and forth with his tuktuk. The breakfast (hoppers in particular) was outstanding. We had a wonderful stay and can definitely recommend!

The owners Saman and Sandive were very welcoming. They made sure that everything in the room was ready before our arrival. Both are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was just amazing, spotless clean, you can definitely sense the attention to every detail. The location is great, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees all around. The view is spectacular, you can see the waterfall and hear the sound of running water from distance when lying in your bed, just a wonderful scene to wake up to. Saman prepared a delicious breakfast and delivered it to the room by herself just to make sure that we do not need anything else. This was by far one of the best places we have been to in Ella. We would definitely book that place again on every trip back to Ella. We highly recommend this place.

The location was amazing! An incredible view of Ravana Falls, Ella Rock & Little Adam’s Peak. The breakfast was so good & very generous. Hosts were very kind & happy to drive us where we needed to go in their tuktuk.

We absolutely LOVED “Lush in Ella”. If you are wanting to experience peaceful oasis in Ella, this is the place. The design of this unique space hits all the marks in an off the beaten path stay. A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️

The shower head could have been a little bigger but that is the only thing! Everything else was perfect.

The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

It was a bit tricky getting our luggage from the main road down to the villa but the villa provided tuk tuk transport which did the trick.

The villa was perched on the side of a mountain with magnificent views of the valley and waterfalls. The location was quiet and very connected to the local community. Our host, Saman, was incredibly attentive.

Its an awesome new House with a lovely view. We liked it alot and enjoyed the quiteness. To the busy town of Ella its just a short walk along the railway. The breakfast was also the best what we got during our stay in Sri Lanka. We got also a small visitor everyday. I Hope he will like the new guests too 😅

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Ella. If travelling by car best to leave it further up the access road and quickly walk down to the property as its rather tight. We were greeted by our wonderful host Saman who made us a refreshing fruit juice on arrival. We were then shown to our room, a purpose built unit a quick climb up a stone path. What fantastic room with an incredible view! It was beautifully designed and kitted out with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Saman brought us breakfast to eat on the balcony in the morning which was very tasty and we even had a show from a family of monkeys in the trees next to our room. We walked into town using a shortcut along the railway track which took us under 20 minutes. Overall it was an amazing stay in a great room with a friendly host.

Serene environment, top quality service from the lovely owner, the room was immaculate with everything we needed and very picturesque. The host even provided us with tea, water and laundry service. Possibly the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, and do not be put off by the negative reviews regarding the driveway, it is easy via Tuktuk and worth it for the views and privacy. Their tuktuk shuttle is free and available 24/7 - thank you again for a wonderful stay ❤️ the best place to eat is Ella Siyapatha Hut Restaurant. This was the most authentic meal we had that was cooked by the gorgeous family. Truly an amazing experience if you’re in Zella

We loved our stay in this accommodation. The room was very stylish, everything was quite new and nicely designed. The hosts are very friendly, and helpful even if they are not fluent in English. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and each they it was slightly different. You can walk into the center in about 10-15 minutes. When it raines there will be some leeches. You need to climb some stairs to get to room but will be rewarded with a great view and also receive help with your luggage if needed. We would highly recommend this stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Lush In Ella very much. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and charming. The hosts were amazing and prepared a delicious breakfast for us every morning. The property has a great view and easy access to Ella City via the nearby railway lines. The trains move slowly, so you’ll easily hear them approaching and can just let them pass by.

We had a wonderful stay. the room is so huge and very modern. the view is unbelievably beautiful, like a dream. The owner is incredibly kind and she prepares the best breakfast with love. Our laundry was even washed. Huge recommendation!!!

It's a bit hard to get there but a tuk tuk won't have any issues. You can also walk for 10 minutes on the train rail to get to town. Locals do it. As other reviews said, you can search for Romance in Ella and it's right opposite. Unfortunately the shower wasn't very hot but warm enough.

The place is amazing, beautifully decorated and with stunning views to the waterfall and Ella's rock. Saman, is a great host. Very nice, and helpful. She arranged a tuk tuk for us when we arrived to the train station. The breakfast is superb. Served on your balcony with views to the waterfall. We wished we could've stayed for longer. If we come back, we'll definitely try to stay here again.

It's not a negative, but something for people to be aware of: The road to the accommodation is down quite a steep hill and the road is narrow in places, so only big enough for one car at a time really. It's best to have your own transport or get a tuk tuk to Ella town. But this should not put you off because it's a lovely place to stay! Again not a negative but it's not on Google maps yet, so search for "Romance in Ella" and it's the same location - They also run this accommodation!

We had a lovely stay here! This is a very new and modern room, it felt really cosy and comfortable! Nicely decorated with fresh bedding, blanket and cushions. Large bathroom with sunken shower basin. Very private with privacy curtains. Good lighting and plug sockets available. The room was also so clean! There is a lovely outdoor area on the balcony, with a table and chairs, and a wonderful view of Kuda Ravana Water Fall and the hills! You are surrounded by lots of plants and trees, so it feels quite close to nature, and we even saw monkeys from the Balcony! It's peaceful and quiet at night. The host speaks a small amount of English, but she was so welcoming, friendly and helpful! Breakfast is different each day and prepared by the host with a lot of love and attention to detail, we enjoyed the food she prepared! Breakfast is brought to you for you to enjoy out on the balcony at a time of your choice. You are really well looked after here! One evening I forgot to leave an outside light on so we could see the steps in the dark, but when we got home somebody had turned the outside light on for us which shows they really care! We were also really thankful we could get our laundry done here at a very reasonable rate! Fridge, kettle, powerful fan and hairdryer in the room. Free parking also available. Would definitely stay again!

Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. The room, bathroom, and balcony are very clean, the Internet works well, The washroom is spacious.

Lush in Ella is not accessible by car and we have to organize a tuk tuk to reach it. There's also lots of stairs to climb. The shower head was very high up, and the water never heated enough. Might be nice to enjoy a warm shower on rainy days. Lots of mosquitoes.

In itself it's a beautiful place and the owners are very nice and accommodating. They help with organising things and are always ready to answer questions and offer help and suggestions.
