Would have loved a hair dryer in the room since it is too cold in Nuwara Eliya to not use one but perhaps it would have been provided if I had asked.

I had a great stay, the house was cosy and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a lot of travelling. The location was perfect, outside of the centre but reachable within a 10-minute walk. Charlie was a great host, could contact him anytime and was very helpful with questions. I hope to come back!

Magnolia Hideout was a fantastic place to stay. The location is peaceful (although up a steep hill) and the host is extremely helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The house is like a home, where you can relax, as well as cook your own food and do your laundry. So glad we found this place.

A quiet, very nice place close to the forest, but only about a 10 mins walk from the city. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the shower was the best! There's a shared kitchen at the guests disposal, and there are nice, big common spaces. Our host, Madusanka, was really helpful, very attentive and very nice. He carried my daughter to the car when she wasn't feeling well, he asked our driver to stop at the pharmacy, and he even messaged me afterwards to ask how my daughter was doing. Thanks for your help! He keeps the house in order and running it very well. Highly recommend this place!

We had some trouble finding Magnolia Hideout. It was tucked away at the edge of town, and there was no signage to help, but eventually the manager found us.

Nice house, well appointed, and nice, cozy room. Clean and wonderful hot shower. It's a bit of a walk into town, but easily manageable.

Loved the peaceful setting and yet still only 5-10 minutes to busy area with Cargills & restaurants (not a dislike just in edge of town!)

Amazing attractive peaceful old house with feature wood, with lots of different indoor sitting areas to relax & eat plus a huge kitchen! Kitchen has fridge, cooker, washing machine (didn’t use that) and lots crockery to use. Large bedroom. And on top of that very helpful staff eg arranged a great car to take us on next journey, tips for the town and other parts Sri Lanka, gave us fruit from garden, plus super friendly for a chat! Very enjoyable stay.

beautiful interior, lots of space both in the room and common area. everything was really clean, and i got a towel that is actually soft and dries my hair for the first time in sri lanka. big kitchen with a lot of tools if you want to cook, and super kind and attentive Mr. Madusanka. really kind neighbors next door who helped me find my lost bag as well (shout out to pedro stay uncle!) also can see amazing stars outside as well!

We really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Hideout. We were welcomed with tea by our nice host Madusanka. He was very kind and helpfull. The view is magnificient and Nuwara Eliya was perfect. The rooms were perfect and big, with a clean bathroom and hot water. We should have stayed at least 2 nights instead of 1. A true recommendation.

Lovely staff. Kalhaar was very accommodating and even helped us do laundry. The property is huge and have spacious lounges, rooms and bathrooms were big too. A little cold so ensure you request for an extra blankie before its too late. The property is tucked in a narrow road but you can call to find the location. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting nuwara eliya

Beautiful building in a fabulous location. Chalana was very kind and courteous. Would recommend this property. Spotlessly clean, and comfortable bed. Large room and bathroom. Bit of a hike to get to the property, though it is close to town. The pay off is the amazing view. They don't provide breakfast, but there is full access to the kitchen so you can self cater.

A beautiful villa in a very quiet spot up beside the forest, with super friendly and helpful staff. The décor is really exceptional, the beds super comfy, the shower amazing, and a good little kitchen to prepare your breakfast in. We stayed longer than we planned!

Drive up to property was difficult with a vehicle
