Amazing stay in Kandy! The breathtaking mountain view made every moment special. The service was top-notch, with breakfast delivered to my room each morning. The hosts were kind and full of great recommendations for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

A stunning room with breathtaking views and exceptional staff, making for a truly memorable stay. The location is a bit far from the center, but since we had a car, it wasn’t an issue. However, if you’re considering staying here solely for the views, it’s something to keep in mind. While the breakfast was enjoyable, there is room for improvement.

There were spider webs in the room and the furniture was a little dusty. This place is a little far from Kandy city, almost 8 kms.

The view from the balcony is amazing. The room and washroom is spacious. It comes with a kettle and things to make tea. Uncle, aunty and son are very kind and help you with anything you may need. Breakfast was good. Value for Money!

Excellent view of the Mahaweli river. The balcony is a nice place to be. Rooms are new and very much functional. WiFi was available. Ample parking space. The food was homemade and tasty. The property is located at some distance from the City, but can be managed by tuktuk or personal transport.

The location is fantastic, offering a beautiful view of the Mahaweli River. The room is very comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities, including a mini refrigerator and a kettle. The bathroom is clean, with a reliable hot water supply. The air conditioning works great. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. An ideal place to stay near Kandy.

It's a very calm location 12 lm away from city but good road except the tail end of 200 meters. Very nice view of Mahaweli River.

The elderly couple was very kind and went out of their way to please us with breakfast and made sure our stay was great. The room is newly furnished and decorated, and the view out of the balcony is amazing. We spent there a lot of time gazing at the stars and enjoyed our breakfast. Beds are comfortable, and my family said it was the best stay in Sri Lanka.

Nothing! But note that it is a 15 minute drive into Kandy. This was no problem for us because the view and peaceful nature of the place was well worth it.

I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful this place is! The view is just unbelievable, the family beyond kind, breakfast so lovely and value for money is exceptional. For what you pay, you get the most stunning view and amazing service with such a comfortable room. We were so happy here we extended our stay. In my 8 months travelling Asia, I have never had such good value for money. Some hotels would charge insane amounts for this view.

A family managed small business and hosts were very accommodative. We booked both the rooms as a single room wasn't enough for 4 people as our stay was for 3 nights. Balcony view was breath taking an this is the highlight of the place which was overlooking Mahaweli river and Hunnasgiriya mountain. Sunrise was lovely to watch. Suvimal and his parents were ready assist anytime and made us very comfortable during our stay. Recommend Mahaweli View Inn to all travelers love a peaceful stay away from city buzz. from this place, you can reach to city center in 15 minutes by a car. Breakfast was lovely and Suvimal's mom cooked it for us for all three days. Hi Aunty, your food was delicious!!

Just a lovely family ready to accommodate your needs. The room was very clean. The amazing view from the balcony of the lake was breathtaking. Total privacy as you are surrounded by tropical trees.
