Nice building very close to the archeological site. Cozy room with comfortable beds. Staff very nice and available to help in arranging a tour to the archeological site. Breakfast and dinner are deliciuous (probably the best rice and curry of the holiday).

The view to the rice fields is outstanding. The room is great: Everything was clean, bed is cozy, wifi works good. The homemade food was delicious. The hosts are lovely. I would stay again for sure.

Such a lovely guest house! The room was very comfortable and clean, we had breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse both days of our stay and this was some of the best food of our trip! The guesthouse is perfectly located a 5min bike ride from the entrance of the Polonaruwa ancient city. Highly recommend!

Best hotel so far in Sri Lanka. Rooms are nice and clean with a beautiful view. Owners were very nice and helpful, they rented bikes for us and prepared the best breakfast and dinner. Very friendly atmosphere.

Be prepared for some insects in the room, since is in the middle of the green!

The guesthouse is in an amazing location, from there you can see the rice plantation and easily reach the main attractions. The hosts also can provide bicycles and a fantastic safari of the main parks of the area. I advise asking them to organize your safari, also very cheap!!

We booked three deluxe rooms on the first floor and enjoyed the spacious rooms, each with a seating area on the veranda and with an outlook onto a rice paddy. The guest house is in a peaceful location, away from the main roads, but close to the historic sites. The hosts were helpful and welcoming, providing excellent breakfasts and dinners. They also provided bicycles for exploring the anciant area and arranged a taxi for our onward travel.

I stayed in some guesthouses in the same price range throughout Sri Lanka, and the water pressure and temperature of the shower were the best I have ever had. The room was bright, spacious and clean. The air conditioning works well. The owners were kind and helpful. And we appreciated the free bottles of water and hiring of a scooter from here to get around the world heritage sites. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, heritage sites and bus stops.

Super hospitable hosts. High quality home cooking for breakfast and dinner. Quiet, clean and beautiful location closeby the entrance of the old city. The owners have arranged a jeep safari to Huluru Eco Park for our family of 4. We have enjoyed the experience; the guide Shiran was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, a smooth off-road driver and spoke good English! The owners also arranged bike rental for us, all smooth!

This place was just amazing. The room was comfortable, quiet and super clean and Nilusha is incredibly kind and welcoming and prepares the best breakfast I have had in Sri Lanka so far. Her coconut rotis are just mind blowing and the fruit she serves every morning is fresh and delicious. Thank you so much for one of my best stays in this beautiful country!

The view from my room was beautiful overlooking the river paddy’s. it’s been my favourite accommodation so far.

Wifi was weak but it was raining when we were there.

Accommodating hosts, helped with bike rentals and drove us to bike rental location by the entrance to the archeological site. Location is near everything thing (food, buses, lake). They have a nice view over large rice fields.
