Very good place for our 1 night stay in kandy. The owners are lovely people who helped us getting to the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And you can enjoy a nice biew of the city while reading a book.

Breakfast was okay but a bit more basic than we’ve had previously.

Great views from the balcony - we paid extra for the room with a lake view but not essential because of the communal balcony. The facilities were great and easy access down the side of the property to the centre of Kandy. Staff were nice.

Can’t really fault it for the price.

Lovely staff. Spotlessly clean. Modern bathrooms. Great value for money. Just a short taxi ride from town. Ate at the hotel for dinner one night and the food was great, proper Sri Lanka home cooking.

Friendly staff! They have a free pickup service, which was convenient. Nice breakfast as well. Really liked the view from the eating area. Rooms were comfortable and modern.

The staff are wonderful, and the location and views of the Temple and Lake are great. The delicious local breakfast was a feast every morning. The balcony was a great place to relax

There was construction going on right outside out window, but it can't be helped. The room leads directly out to the breakfast area, so it can be a bit noisy in the morning.

Great location Away from the hustle and bustle but a short downhill walk into Kandy, or a tuk tuk ride. Also nice breakfast included. The staff were nice and helpful but not intrusive.

Great view! A quiet, relaxed and easy-going place to stay in Kandy. Our rooms were easily accessible for a member of our group with walking difficulties, so this could not have worked out better for them! The common space with a balcony complements the rooms nicely. Breakfast was great - a lovely pot of tea

The rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning.

Rooms are a little small but fine. 15 min walk into the city, big hill, but that’s the cost of having such a view

Was a long way up from town but pick me worked well and tuk tuk fare was only 300rupees. Monkeys on the rooftops meant drying clothes on balcony was a no no. Otherwise very happy with our stay

Lovely views over Kandy, good breakfast, very helpful staff, shortcut down to the lake was useful. Wake up call from monkeys on the verandah. Quick drying shower floor👍🏻

- Room can be noisy as it is located near the lunch hall and the door does not block sound well (walls are good so you do not hear your neighbours, only the front door is not sound proof)

- The staff is very friendly and visible! - Good breakfast - Nice view on the lake - Clean and modern room and bathroom (with 2 pillows per bed)

Excellent location (quiet area, but close walk to city center) and room exceeded expectations. New, clean, good bathroom. Family was very friendly and helpful and dinner was tasty.

The owner and his wife are lovely, so is the tuktuk driver who works for Mcleod Inn. Wonderful people who will do everything to give you the best holiday.

It's a bit of a climb up when coming from the centre of Kandy (but would def. recommend) and it's not a real solo traveller place (although I did meet some nice people)

The view from the terrace is great, the staff is really nice and the rooms are really comfortable. An easy shortcut to the centre of Kandy from the hilltop as well.
