Nice place to stay The beach is about 300 metres from resort across rocks but worth the walk as plenty of turtles about. Breakfast is good with western and SL food. Lunch a bit limited so go into Marissa. Susan and Inshan are great tuktuk drivers

One of the most relaxing spots, facing the sea with people surfing! It’s a heaven for people who enjoy surfing. There is a diving/surfing/snorkling/whale watching/bike renting centre right next to it which we found so convenient. The owner of the place, David, is an amazing host and staff, absolutely superb! Thank you so much for having us ❤️

The staff was friendly and helpful, always available when needed. The facility had snorkeling gear for use and a beach just down from the hotel with excellent snorkeling. Go early before the rush. It was nice to not be in downtown Marissa, and a little quieter. Town was a 20 minute walk of 5 minute Tuk-Tuk ride and was easy to get to.

Location is outside of Mirissa which is perfect and short 500lkr tuk tuk ride for restaurants.The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast provided and lunches purchased were superb and reasonable based on the quality. You can sit and eat breakfast watching surfers and the waves crashing The best bit however is it is situated a 5min walk along the beautiful coastline to a picture perfect beach where you have a good chance of seeing and swimming with Turtles The owners have created a place of serenity in line with its name. Looking forward to return

Calm location, away from the mainstream tourism. You can swim with turtles, or have diving, snorkeling, surf lessons... Restaurant is a bit overpriced for what it is, but still a good option if you just want to stay there. Spacious rooms, kind stuff. It was a good choice.

This hotel was so chilled. It was right on a private beach and we snorkeled out front before a delicious breakfast each morning. Snorkeling gear and surfboards were available at no charge. The resort was barefoot. The room was large, tasteful yet simple decor and very clean. No TV or music. Just the sound of the ocean crashing on the reef out front. The owners - David and Yao - welcomed us as if we were their personal house guests.

Very friendly staff and hosts, beautiful location, ten minute ride to the city centre. Clean and comfortable spacious rooms with beautiful balconies. Quiet. There is fairly secluded beach with not many waves, in walking distance. Breakfast and restaurant were very good, although not a lot of options in the breakfast menu.

The property itself was gorgeous. As it says on the tin it is on a reef so accessing the sea for a swim was a little tricky but only a short ride away from a beach to swim in.

The rooms were beautifully clean, spacious and had incredible views. The staff and owners were super friendly and thoughtful, arranging a cake for my birthday! They assisted with booking taxis and had great local knowledge. The breakfast and food menu was 10/10, varied and delicious. Would definitely go back!

Everything to like about Mirissa Reef from the peace and tranquility , great comfortable beds to the lovely staff. This is a great find away from the bustle of Mirissa beach, but close enough to get to. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka on our trip and we couldn’t have liked it more.

Mirissa restaurants etc are a fairly long walk away. Easily accessible via tuk tuk but not a short or particularly safe walk along the road.

The room was really spacious and overlooked the sea, the staff were very helpful and informative. The breakfast was great and the fish burger was great treat whilst watching the surfing. The Tuk Tuk driver Zshan was always on hand to help with early morning starts and multiple journeys into Mirissa. The hotel was very clean and the cleaning service provided was amazing with multiple options as well as a time for your convenience, a really neat touch from the hotel.

It was stylish, impeccably maintained, clean, smelled wonderful like a spa, had lovely plentiful bathroom products and friendly staff and owners. Also looks over the beach and sea down a quiet road, with direct access to the beach. Breakfast had good options and was very tasty. Perfect!
