The place is beautiful, and the rooms are cozy and spotless. You can book tours on site organized by the owners. Since I stayed for a week, they even offered to wash my clothes for free, which I really appreciated.

Everything perfect. We had a great stay.

The views on the mountains from our room was spectacular. Host Kushan and his family made us feel very welcome and were attentive to our needs. Overall we had a very pleasant stay, highly recommended. The breakfast served on the terrace with great mountain view was absolutely enjoyable. They organize many activities and trips by car for reasonable price. Their activities also highly recommended.

The Owner & his Family were very helpful, always wanted us to enjoy our freedom, requesting us to have a good rest and have some lovely tea. The view was fantastic & the air cool as ever. Had a refreshing hot-water bath which was great, The bed was very comfy & the room very peaceful. Nighttime sight was really a wonderful sight. I will be going there next time, too. It's a place with an incredible view! It's a bit far from the center but you can take a tuk tuk and that's it! The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good for the price. The staff was very friendly at all times. They helped me get a tuk tuk to take me to the station and at night they recommended where to have dinner.

We only stayed for one night but we immediately felt so welcome as soon as we entered the house. The family is super kind and does everything for you to enjoy your stay. They cooked the most amazing and authentic dinner for us and we even got a ride the next morning very early for us to be able to catch our train! Thanks to everyone <3

A little out of the centre - but in some ways that’s a plus plus

What a fabulous find - we went on the reviews and we were very pleased - in fact blown away- the family organised Koru ( dads) tuk from the train station - he then waited for us to shower and took us to a restaurant He also took us and collected us every night - on one day we used his local noodle to visit the botanical gardens ( fabulous) Breakfast served in the terrace with a view was wonderful. Everything was brand new and spotless The family are so welcoming A must if your visiting Kandy - it’s 900 mtrs up the hills but the views are worth it and a couple of days we walked the 3km into the centre and back - no issues if you like walking - if not a tuk is £1 or so… Breakfast was a delight Fabulous and would return

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, they helped us with everything we could possibly need. They also organised a tuk tuk tour of Kandy for us at a very good price. The location is a little far from Kandy town so you need a tuk tuk to see everything but it was a beautiful setting and very quiet at night away from the noisy city.

We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazingly clean and fresh with comfortable bed. The whole family was so helpful and kind, even helped us with food when we arrived late and hungry. Our best stay in sri lanka so far. Definitely recommend staying at mountain view guesthouse when you are in Kandy!

The host and his family are incredibly friendly, very warm and welcoming. The room with balcony is very comfortable and the view is great. They make sure you enjoy your time in and around Kandy and offer to assist in transportation and planning of trips. We did a tour to Dambulla temple and Sigiriya which our host drove us to. We also went to a traditional dance show in Kandy, which we can highly recommend.

Breathtaking views, worth booking a balcony room. Room was clean and spacious. Shower was decent. Even had a tv! Up in the mountains but only a short ride or walk from Kandy and very quiet at night. There is a small kitchen area. Hosts were super kind and helpful with all my requests
