We liked everything about our stay. The breakfast was really great and a perfect start to the day. Our room was very comfy with a great view. Best of all for us was the host, a truly caring and thoughtful person. We spent a lot of time having very deep and meaningful conversations with him. If we ever visit Kandy again, we would definitely stay with him again and for longer next time.

Thanks for the nice stay! Everything was clean, house is very pretty and the host is amazing. Wish we had known earlier that he was a guide and is a herbal healer - the food there must be awesome as he is preparing everything from scratch. Highly recommend to stay at Mystique Hideout when you are visiting Kandy. :-)

Nice view. The room was clean. Host guy was really helpful and nice. He took us to local restaurant. He also help us to find the best bus connection to Lipton Seat when google maps failed. I really recommend this hostel.

I didn't see the message sent from Surj about the shared bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal as I only stayed one night. Also the bed was a bit creaky one side. Check your messages after you have booked ;)

Great balcony to chill in. Surrounded by trees and the peace and quiet. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Takes about 20 minutes or so to walk to the center of town/lake. Some shops nearby, about 0.5km away.

The owner was very nice and helpful. He even got us some drinking water in the late night of New Years' Eve when everything was already closed. This accommodation is a part of sustainable tourism which is supportive for our green planet.

Bathroom drain could have been better, but all good!

Amazing building - top floor views alone are worth it! Room was generously sized. All in a quiet area. Extremely welcoming manager. Had a great breakfast as well.

It was a great stay where the rooms were very cozy and the host was very polite and welcoming. The homestay looks amazing and the rooms had fans in them that can help you get a goodnight sleep. Breakfast and Dinner is available at an additional nominal charge which is homemade fresh and healthy. Overall, a great and recommended stay in Kandy. Looking forward to booking it again next time.
