There are a lot of dogs as the other reviews say, one night we didn’t get any sleep because we genuinely thought a rabid animal was outside the door, it was honestly terrifying and because of it we didn’t do the morning hike up Adam’s peak (I refused to be killed by a wild animal) but turns out it was just a dog with a wild growl and nothing scary. Take ear plugs - if you can hack the dogs it’s so devine and the owners are super lovely and gave us free breakfast as a sorry - we watched sunrise from the location instead and it was beautiful regardless

The views from this location are INSANE my favourite part of being in Ella I can’t recommend it enough

It was all great

We had 4 nights here, there are some incredible views from the property overlooking Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great value for money, the breakfast we had was also delicious! Would recommend Nest of Peak.

The accommodation was very clean, and we had a great stay. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. The guesthouse is located slightly up a hill, so we recommend taking a Tuk-Tuk up with your luggage. After that, it’s easy to walk. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Ella town on foot. The location is also perfect for starting the hike to Ella Rock. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the shower had warm water with good pressure. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!

Due to the high humidity, the room smelled a bit! The mattresses may therefore need to be changed more often and I might not put a sofa in the room because of the humidity

The location and the view were spectacular! Breakfast in the morning with a breathtaking view!The host was super nice, very helpful and always available for us We were especially pleased that he cooked typical Sri Lankan food for us one evening! It was so delicious! We are really grateful for that! Simply very hospitable and lovely people, we felt comfortable

Water pressure from the shower and the tap could have been better.

Gret view from the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, huge breakfast. Room was clean and comfy. Quiet during the night (except from barking dogs every now and then).

The bathroom was not really upgraded. The shower head was not functioning well and some part of the pipe are broken and the water flow ,the temperature is not enough.

The distance is quite far from the central area but if you prefer peace and quiet, this place is worth trying.

The Budget room has neither view nor mosquito netting. Bad wifi

The view if you get a room with view. Pretty clean especially the bed was cleaned. Fair price Breakfast which was really really nice.

room was small, had no kettle or fridge but to be fair the rest of our party rooms were great, we just drew the short straw. That said it was clean, comfortable and waking up to those views were something else

Slight lack of attention to detail, with a window left open in the bathroom, leading to a lot of mosquitoes! There was also no hot water for showering, however we were later told that this was something we could have requested.

Amazing views to wake up to, large and tasty breakfast plus a big comfy bed in a large private room. The staff were quick to react to our needs when requested.

The view is amazing! Breakfast delicious! The rooms are not clean.

The manager was very helpful and very friendly. I felt very well treated by the stuff.We were at the beginning a little bit unhappy but he fixed everything. They try the best to accommodate you.

Shower and water pressure really need sorting. Also had 3 times same breakfast, could do with variations even though very good breakfast. Not much interractions with owners.

Incredible view. Great location to be able to walk in to Ella. For the money really can’t fault it. Only thing I would mention is the rooms on top floor, with the best view, don’t have a private balcony, I misunderstood and thought it was.

The owners were not flexible in terms of giving wifi, and they were very particular about receiving the payment before using the property, which I found odd.

Just be aware that it is up a lot of hills, but very easy to arrange tuktuk or transport.

The first night was a bit annoying with the noise from the neighbors, however, this was a very special occasion so will not happen again soon.

Beautiful location and the people were superfriendly. Great breakfast. The neighbors had a very loud celebation for two days so the host organised a different location for us the second day which was very nice and helpful

This isn’t the properties fault but there were electrical outages two of the nights we were there due to heavy rain and they don’t have a generator so we were left in the dark.

The views from the balcony were spectacular! Just like the photos show. The owner is lovely and gives you tons of recommendations. The breakfast is huge and yummy. If you stay multiple nights they will offer you different breakfast which was nice since we were there for 2 nights. Bed was comfy.
