Best breakfast we had on our trip to Sri Lanka! We loved the tranquil area. Garden was beautiful. We loved sitting on our porch and watching the birds. Hosts were super nice and accommodating. Everything was clean. Perfect stay.

Nice air conditioned room and a lovely, serene garden with hang mats for peak relaxation (but definitely bring mosquito spray). Kind and accommodating hosts who helped organise transportation and offered recommendations for various activities. Great, varied breakfast and gorgeous views of the rock.

The entrance was a little hidden, and there was no office, but the host came out when we arrived and showed us to our room. Fruit juice was provided once we settled in, which we had on the balcony. Rooms were great and very clean, the bathroom large and very nice. Breakfast was great, a recommended out of the way gem.

Loved our stay at the property - the room was beautiful, with a very comfy bed. The location was great, close to local restaurants and had a nice view of Lions Rock. The host was very caring, helpful and friendly - and served a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast! The host organised an afternoon safari for us and our guide on this safari was amazing - highly recommend!

The owner has taken a lot of time to looking at the details. The place is well presented, clean and beautiful. I would have loved to stay longer but the place was booked. Also can I thank the owner for the great Tuk Tuk driver that took us to the Ancient City and was happy to hang to give drive us around. So happy we stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The place was extremely quiet, and our Deluxe Double Room with Garden View was very spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful sitting area in the garden, perfect for relaxing. The hotel is located away from the main road, ensuring a calm atmosphere, yet restaurants are easily reachable within a 700m walk. The location is ideal for visiting the famous Lion Rock, making it a great base for sightseeing. What truly impressed us was the outstanding hospitality of the owners, who helped us arrange a comfortable shuttle from Colombo Airport to Sigiriya, accommodating our two bicycles without any hassle. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful – a perfect start to the day! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

Small thing - smaller shower and leaking sink. When you take the shower the water spills everywhere as there is no shower curtain and the shower is pretty small. And the leaking sink makes the bathroom slippery and wet. But it’s not a huge problem as there is a towel left to put on the floor.

Great place to stay for your visit in Sigiriya. The room itself was clean. Their garden is really beautiful and you feel that you are in the jungle. Breakfast was really tasty.

My room was a bit poorly soundproofed and I could hear my neighbours (kids) and some construction during the day well (maybe try earplugs). But overall amazing, would return any time!

Really cute and family run hotel with amazing views on Lion Rock nestled in an absolutely stunning garden! You can watch parrots from the terrace, listen to the sounds of nature and relax. Udika helps with the organisation of tuktuks and everything else that you need and all the staff was amazing. The room is very very clean and spacious, comfortable with a big bed. Especially to mention is that the room is equipped with everything you might need such as shampoo, tea maker, umbrellas, complimentary water, hairdryer etc.

Really comfortable stay at Nice View, I liked that there were hammocks to relax in after a long day. They were able to get our room ready earlier than expected which was great too.

Beautiful property and location. Perfect for early morning trips to Lion’s Rock and Pidurangala, followed by relaxation on the hammocks in the lovely garden and/or trips further afield e.g. to Polonnaruwa. The owner Udike was extremely helpful with organising car and tuktuk transfers and was happy to delay our delicious breakfast until we returned from our early morning hikes. Highly recommend.

It’s better to rent a bike/scooter/tuc tuc as Pick me is not working in Sigiriya and you cannot call a cab to the rock or city.

They do have a nice view. It was a comfortable place to stay in Sigiriya, as for this affordable price you’ll stay in a cozy room with all the amenities you need, you’ll get a local tasty breakfast and you’ll enjoy all the green territory and private quiet neighborhood.
