A beautiful 140 year old family home with the 4th generation living there. Super close proximity to airport and still a green oasis. Warm welcome by the owners who made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable.

A wonderful stay after a late evenng flght arrival, just 5 mns ride from airport. Our host provided advice on how to get a taxi. Our room was very comfortable, good air con. The house is 140 years old in the same family, and a beautiful garden to enjoy. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a small supermarket and bakery about 10 mns walk.

Nothing not to like. Maybe it's not so convenient for anything other than the airport, but I could see it as a good base for a stay of a couple of days to be able to come back after a busy day to this tranquil and homely place.

Picked this hotel only because it was near to the airport and had a better rating than the normal airport hotels. Felt guilty that we arrived late in the evening and flew out early in the morning - the hotel (more of a guest house) is fantastic!!! Run by a tremendously friendly and welcoming couple, it is an old house that has been in the family for 200 years and oozes with tradition. Although its geographic location is perfect for the airport and not really near anything else, it would not be too far to take a tuk tuk or car to the beach or into Colombo, and we thought that if we maybe stayed here longer it might have made a good base. Good wifi too.

It was slightly difficult to find after dusk, but after a quick call to the hotel we arrived safely.

Very friendly staff and the proximity to the air port is very convenient. They took us to the air port in the morning free of charge.

Nothing to dislike.

Very quiet street only 100 meters from the Colombo airport road and 1km from airport main entrance. Complimentary transfers to the airport was a bonus. Atmosphere fantastic, 140 year old home come hospital, photos of facilities and gardens just don’t do it justice. I would have liked to stay longer just to soak up the old colonial charm.

Bathroom floor does not drain well after a shower.
