This was our favourite place we stayed on our trip. Whilst it might look basic in the photos it is simple elegance! It is incredibly tasteful and understated in its decor. Attention to detail and little touches made this place so special. The gentleman who looks after Nongu Home was friendly, funny and helpful. He was the perfect balance of present but not fussy or overbearing. The garden is a real pleasure to be in. We loved it he handwash in the bathrooms and they were kind enough to give us a bottle to take home with us.

Very pretty and clean room (was even cleaned again mid of our stay). The outdoor bath is cool and the A/C is powerful. Lovely and helpful staff. The location is perfect with just a few min walk to the beach.

Great place to stay and very close to lots of restaurants around Uppaveli beach. The location is perfect. Loved the decor and each room has a small seating area outside. The air conditioning was amazing and much needed when we visited Trinco. Great communication with the owner who recommended some trips/places to visit. Would definitely stay again!

The bathroom area is outdoors and whilst this is aesthetically lovely, there are insects to encounter. Do bear this in mind if you do not like insects! There was no bottled water with the room which would’ve been good

Great location within short walk to the beach and very comfortable bed. Rezvi and his team were so helpful and always friendly/ on hand to help; including coming by later in the evening to help me get rid of an insect!

The House is very stylish and cozy. Even though the room is not big, but it is completely enough for a couple and it is very comfortable. Beautiful small yard! The owner was extremely helpful and on a request organized flowers and cake for my husband’s birthday❤️we stayed for four nights and even wanted to stay longer. Beach is nearby and close to home there are a lot of restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Nongu Home, only planning on staying 3 nights we extended our trip to 5. The home was lovely, clean and perfect location. Rizvi and his father were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. A very good experience in trincomalee :)

We had a lovely, 6 day, stay at Nongu Home! The location is great: close to the beach, lots of amazing restaurants nearby (with local and Western food). You can rent a scooter down the road if you want to drive to the town. The owner is very friendly. The room is simple (no fridge, no closet) with a nice vibe, it's clean and the bathroom is absolutely lovely. I recommend staying here for your Trinco trip.

Clean, calm, comfortable room with big clean open air bathroom. Its the best place in Trincomalee - truely comfort and relaxing stay. Comfortable beds, tea pot in room, beautiful garden sitting area - all was perfect. Friendly staff. Also good location - 5 min walk to beach, and a lot of good cafes and resturants around. We stayed here for 2 nights and then try to go to other place, but we return to stay one more night because its most comfortable place.

This was one of the most beatiful stays. I fell in love with how goergeous it was. I think it’s a great value for the price.❤️ the outside shower was also perfect. When you are lucky, you don’t even need an alarm and you will get a wake up call with gray langurs who stay at the mango trees above 🙏🏻 it’s also really close to a beatiful beach and our favourite Fernando’s market. The owner communites withing minutes which made me feel really asured. The manager of the property is really nice man who’s aleways there.

We felt like there were a lot more mosquitoes than elsewhere and it would be nice to have an anti-mosquito-plug or incense sticks provided. Also the mosquito net was pretty annoying because it hangs pretty close over your body..

Wonderful room with outdoor shower, beautiful garden and an adorable care taker Careem. The host was always available and replied fast. There's a water boiler and some tea & coffee, you're pretty close to all the touristy restaurants.

Beautiful room and amazing staff, very friendly and helpful (helped us organizing activities, exchanging money, arranging a taxi to Yala…). The location was extremely convenient, very close to the beach and to the delicious restaurants in the area. A 2 min walk to the main road to find a Tuk Tuk to anywhere. We had a great time, great value for money!

I stayed there for 4 nights and I really enjoyed it. The room is smaller but super cosy, modern and the open air bathroom is really cool! :-) Whole apartment is about 5 mins walking to the beach. Rizvi (owner) is a nice person, caring and he made my stay in Trincomalee really comfortable. As a female solo traveler I felt comfortable and safe in Nongu and I would definitely stay here again.
