TurkeyThe hotel and its design were stunning. We really liked it. Our room was unfortunately very small and it was hard to move around in it. We couldn’t sleep due to upstairs guests making a lot of noise in the night, I can say that they were almost talking in our room. Compared to the hotel’s price, room size and noise problems, we couldn’t enjoy it as much as possible. The food and the staff were excellent though.

United KingdomIt was quite pricey I feel. In our room ‘deluxe villa’ we could hear everything going on in the restaurant untill past 11pm so quite noisy. The room and bathroom are also very small, we struggled to fit 2 big bags in our room. You can’t walk into town as it’s to far but staff do help with tuk tuk transport.
Staff very attentive, the bed was very comfortable and cosy and the buffet breakfast was amazing. The pool was also lovely. Staff helped us get tuk tuk into town and wifi was good.

United KingdomPool small and very cold. Extra charges on drinks ie tax, and VAT plus 10% service charge really inflated drinks bill. Limited set evening menu. Smoking allowed in restaurant made it uncomfortable.
Lovely rustic room, good location, friendly staff. No wardrobe for clothes so expect to live out of suitcase.

Our stay was truly exceptional, thanks to the best hospitality and a staff that went above and beyond to meet our needs. Initially, our room was quite small, but upon requesting a bigger one since we were traveling with a toddler, they immediately made arrangements and shifted us to a more spacious room. The stunning mountain views and the treehouse-like feel made the experience even more special. It was a perfect blend of comfort and nature, and we’d definitely love to stay here again on our next visit!

They allowed us to use the pool after checkout and mind our bags. Breakfast was really good with a fresh pancakes and omelette station, any barista coffees were extra.

AustraliaThe view from our balcony suite was a bit average in comparison to what the other rooms had due to it being lower down. The bathroom was lovely but due to the tree in it a lot of bugs came into the bathtub.
We stayed here for 3 nights as part of honeymoon and stayed in one of the suites. The location up in the mountain is very serene and calm in comparison to the busyness of the Ella centre. The stand out for us was the service, which is definitely the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Pradeep on reception was extremely helpful, especially when we hadn’t had our train tickets delivered and he contacted the company for us and got it sorted. The restaurant staff were also very helpful, the young server (so sorry I’ve forgotten his name!) had excellent English and provided great advice on things to do and even organised a rental scooter for us through one of the others. The food was really good for breakfast and we had dinner in the hotel one night which was also really good. They have good happy hours and overall we found it to be reasonably priced. They also provide complimentary afternoon tea which was lovely.

SwedenIt’s very pleasant; the problem arises when you have neighbors on the floor above and no children. The hotel lacks soundproof walls, and it’s a disaster. Being next to the restaurant, the noise in the mornings is overwhelming. The rooms are very small, even for two people. There’s no place to put your luggage or hang your clothes.
