Loved everything.

Hands down our favourite hotel of the trip. The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

The perfect getaway in this wonderful villa. Ideal when seeking a change from the mainstream hotels. We were met on arrival by our host who showed us around the villa. There is ample space and lots of different tastefully themed areas to relax including own pool (this is unheated and in the shade but in the Sri Lankan sun was really welcome!) We loved the trees rooted in the lounge and the outdoor shower (there's another upstairs as well as two sun terraces). The property really is unique. Thanks to the guys for the walking tour down to the beach with the friendly dogs for company (the beach is deserted and beautiful but not suitable for swimming due to the waves and undertow). Also thanks crew for the mini safari and trip to the fisherman's village which is a totally non touristy genuine and friendly place. On the impromptu mini safari we spotted star tortoises, crocodiles, water buffalo, peacocks, mongoose, foxes, monkeys and lots more. The food was delicious and plentiful with a good menu choice. You do need to eat in, as you are away from the main hotels and the shops are only basic in this area. That is the charm however, you are safely within nature with a team who know and respect it. We used O2 as a base to visit Yala National Park (we saw leopards on our morning visit!) and can thoroughly recommend the whole experience and hope to be back sometime.

We were a family with two granddaughters 3 & 5 and the staff went over and above to make the children and us feel welcome and pampered!! The manager Madhawa was kind, helpful, efficient and very competent!! Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!

When we arrived it was a bit of a surprise for us that there was only 1 bedroom on 2nd floor. The 2nd bedroom area is open and just an extension of the living area. That said, it didn't turn out to be an issue and our 2 nights at the villa were pretty comfortable. Due to the rainy season, the roof in the living area was dripping some water but they managed it well by placing a bucket underneath.

The villa was cozy and had a nice forest stay feel. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids and had comfortable accomodation. The staff and food service was excellent. The hotel manager was on WhatsApp with us 24x7 and promptly attended to any of our needs. The villa has a nice private pool and backyard. The jacuzzi on the terrace is lovely with awesome views of the jungle on side and ocean on the other. They packed a nice breakfast for our safari and even drove us on their buggy to a nearby rock perch for amazing views.

Nothing really. One night, the dogs barked so much that they woke us up several times. I guess they were keeping some wild animals at bay, and it only happened that one night. Apart from that, the dogs were adorable, especially when they ran behind the buggy all the way to the main road :D

It was well-designed, clean, spacious, and cozy. The food was fine. One of the bathrooms was half-open, so we had a few frog and bird visitors, but we didn’t mind. The crew was great. A big thank you to the two young men from the staff who took us on buggy rides around the outskirts of the national park. They were such lovely company, and these small trips were incredibly enjoyable and memorable.

The host and all the staff members are extremely helpful. We arrived around lunch time and via Whatsapp we coordinated our lunch order, so we we arrived, we could immediately enjoy the lovely lunch. The rooms are extremely large, which is ideal for a family. We enjoyed sunny weather, but even when it rains, you feel super comfy and cozy in the villa. The kids loved the outing to the beach and the garden area. We had a lovely long weekend!

What a very special place! It's built right into the environment (with live trees growing through the villa and all!) and is a little serene oasis in the Yala area. The staff are wonderfully kind and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the villas are so unique. We loved exploring the beach and dunes and Madhawa organized a safari for us too. Our son loved exploring the property for frogs and lizards. Highly, highly recommend O2.

The villa provided a high level of comfort with all necessary amenities. The children had a great time observing the squirrels, lizards, and frogs around the property, which was perfect for those who appreciate nature. The service was attentive, and staff members took us out on mini excursions to nearby fishing village and beaches using a villa cart or tuktuk. These experiences were truly incredible and will be remembered for a long time. A big thank you to manager Mahdawa, Tallina and Suraj for taking such good care of us.

The bathroom was semi outdoors, so there were a lot of ants and bugs which we didn’t like.. at 1 point there was a spider, squirrel and bird that came in.

We loved the service from the staff and food was delicious! Bfast every morning and we had dinner in the villa once. Rooms were clean and whole villa was spacious - can sleep a total of 5 pax comfortably. Villa is about 20 mins to Yala National park.
