I was grateful that not only the workers but also the owner was very kind. If you need anything, they will kindly take care of it. Mirissa Beach is a 10-minute walk away, and there is a supermarket and pharmacy about a 5-minute walk away. There are also many good restaurants within a 15-minute walk. If I come back to Mirissa, I will come here again.

A great little place set in a tranquil location that's only a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The rooms represent good value for money and were a good size with comfortable beds, decent bathroom facilities and mosquito nets. We had a balcony room by one of the trees which was ideal for us as it provided much needed shade. The family who run the place were super helpful.

Great peaceful location just a few minutes walk to both the beach and main road. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable with large balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and the family who run the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. They also arranged a taxi transfer to Colombo at a very reasonable price.

Location was just off the Marissa main road - and not to far from the beach . Nice breakfast lunch place nearby (Coral ..) - nice Terrasse to view the surfers . The room was simple but clean with great AC and clean bathroom. It has a little Terrasse - did not use it since too hot - monkeys visited once .

Orchid Rest was a lovely hotel during our stay in Mirissa. The owner was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were super clean, with white bed sheets, a spotless bathroom, and a nice exterior terrace. Breakfast was delicious, with various options to choose from. Definitely worth visiting while in Mirissa.

There is no elevator. I was expecting that Mirrisa is more alive at night.

There is no noise from the street, but you hear animals at night. Near the main street and beaches but still to reach them you need to walk a little.

We loved everything about our stay! The host was wonderful and polite, we had a nice terrace, everything was clean and we used the laundry service which was the first good one we‘ve had in Sri Lanka. They even cleaned our room after two nights. And the provide airport transport which was the cheapest we’ve found. We haven‘t had breakfast but noticed a lot of people repeatedly having their breakfast there so I‘m assuming it‘s good. The location is a bit further away from the street which makes the nights super quiet and we loved the walks to the beach and back into the city. All in all 10/10

Due to the shower positioned in the center of the bathroom, it can get quite flooded. A bathroom mat would have been great.

Well located close to Mirissa beach and not too far from the Main Street. Quiet environment, spacious rooms and lovely hosts :) The breakfast is very rich and fresh. Would stay here anytime again when in Mirissa. Even extended one night.

Wifi didn't always work.

Had a lovely 8 night stay here, would highly recommend! Excellent value for money. The property is kept very clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities and the owners were very welcoming and attentive to our needs - as we statyed for a week we were regularly offered clean bedding, towels and the option to have our room cleaned. The room was a good size with a comfy bed, good AC and warm water in the bathroom. The shared kitchen facilities were an added bonus and kept in good condition.
