They swapped our room for a lower class room and took the same price for it. The room was tiny and the bathroom shower was next to the commode, was very uncomfortable. On the beach they don't maintain any chairs, day beds or seating, so u have to go to another properties restaurant.

Property is beautiful and access to the beach is lovely.

We booked a standard double room. The AC didn't work properly and it was so noisy. The staff tried to fixed it but they couldn't do it. They gave us another standard room which was a very small room and we were not satisfied with that room at all. Then we paid for a deluxe room which was more comfortable and everything was fine in that room.

It's less than 2 minutes to the huge , calm and relaxing beach.

I had the Cabana’s booked for a family of four. I had to book 2 rooms as only two people can stay in each room. The bed area itself is fine, however the bathroom very small and shower is tiny. I’m only small build and I could get in sideways, stay still and let the shower wet me and get out in the same way. One of the cabana’s started leaking as it rained heavily. We got moved to one of the executive rooms and the executive room is spacious and has a balcony view. There is a train track right next to the property. It is bit noisy when the trains pass through, but not a big deal.

The executive rooms are great. It is big, the bathrooms are fairly large. Shower is decent size. The beach is just 5 mins walk from the back of the property through a little green area and there are wooden lounges with cushion is there just for the property renters. Location wise it is a great place.

The washroom was not cleaned properly and had a bad smell. That was a major turn off. Its also very small and some one big would definitely have a problem using it. Had it not been for these issues I might have rated the property with a 9 or 10.

The internet is only on between certain times - they turn it off at 11pm for the night which can be a bit annoying!

Amazing location near a gorgeous beach - literally a two minute walk away. Great value for money especially if you’re on a budget - our room was £11 a night and had everything we needed. The room didn’t have AC, just a fan that wasn’t that strong but you can’t really complain for the price and they do have other rooms with AC in. The staff are super lovely and gave us welcome drinks - we would definitely recommend.

We had a look at the cabana, the shower cubicle was too small about 3*5 feet. Something to think about if you're a large person. The breakfast could have been better.

Very accommodating staff and owners. We booked the cabana, but due to an air-conditioner malfunction- they provided us a room for the same price. Direct access to a private beach area, very short walk away.

It was a wonderful stay at this place.This is the second time we had this awsum tranquility.So much of attraction around the place including the beach.Its always better to reserve a Cabana where u will have much more privacy. Place is clean and tidy and the care taker is doing a great job.Their breakfast is amazing with traditional Srilankan food. I recommend this place who ever wanna enjoy their holidays for a reasonable price. The couple who runs the business tries to offer their fullest support and drop by the place to have a nice chat with us. Keep up the good work guys.We will be their soon 👍

At this value, there is nothing not to like

The hosts were very good and extremely attentive. Sajee, who served us breakfast , went out of his way to ensure we had everything we wanted. He suggested a typical Sri Lankan breakfast , which was delicious. Thanks, Sajee.. We had a room that was much bigger than expected with good air conditioning and plenty of cupboard space . Excellent value for money, and a wonderful beach just a few meters away. Everyone was so helpful. We would return if only to see the two delightful gardeners, who smile and .8ensure you are comfy, each time you visit the beach ⛱️

I recently stayed at Sea Shells Cabana, and I am very disappointed with my experience. The room provided was completely different from the photos shown online, which is extremely misleading. The quality of the room was poor, and it did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Extremely dissatisfied.

No value for money. Some devices did not work in our room. The A/C takes a long time to cool.

The staff is very good. Helped us when needed. The surroundings and room are clean. Very close to the beach.If you want to go to the beach here is good.

The standard room was musty smelling very small with only a bed and a small bathroom . Delux room was better in size but was Also had a strong musty smell. The view from rooms is an unkempt garden area not pleasant to look at. Sea cannot be seen from the property. We asked for cancellation but they asked 50% cancellation fee..WiFi useless.

Upon our deep displeasure on rooms provided the staff arranged one deluxe triple room with an extra bed for all 4 of us. That room was ok.
