The showers - pretty horrible. Very little water comes through the hot water system and doesn’t heat up quick. Not ideal for women travelers with long hair to have a quick shower.

When I arrived the downstairs area looked like a building site and reception was a little makeshift stand to the left. I nearly didn't check. Staff said that work and therefore noise would only be during the day, however I can state that I heard power tools been used at 9 pm and I was on the 3rd floor. They are clearly refurbishing the whole of the downstairs section, which is the reception area and the restaurant, which I'm sure will be great when finished. See pics. This was mid July 2024.

There is no iron, hot water heater and a complimentary drink as comparing with other places we stayed for the same price. They charged extra money for each extra person but they didn't provide even a extra bathing towel or pillow

There was major refurbishment going on, the whole of the ground floor was being turned into a restaurant.. We had to walk through a building site every day to get to our room,trying to avoid tripping over electrical cables and avoiding inhaling paint spray. They should not have accepted bookings wile this work was going on. The bathroom was really dirty. The "restaurant" was in fact a bar, full of men drinking, talking loudly and smoking. It was horrible to eat in, so we took one meal in our rooms and ate out the other days.

The room had a fridge and the bed was fine. There was a kind of balcony

Room was spacious and comfortable. Good bed, good pillows and clean sheets. The AC worked well, hot shower and good bathroom. Clean and comfortable by Western Standards! Laundry services had our clothes smelling fresh and clean! Easy walk to bus station and to markets to explore and find restaurants. Very professional hotel staff, they were attentive and made sure our needs were met! The balcony is connected to a common outdoor balcony for all the rooms. We didn't use it as we spent most of our days outside anyway!

The location was perfect - close to bus-and train station, 15 min walk distance Very good food, served by very friendly and helpful staff. We appriciated the bar at first floor where we could enjoy a cold beer. We were satisfied with the room - fan, cooler, shower with hot water

Good location, good value for money, nice bar and restaurant, really close to the railway station and great for authorides anywhere. Could do with opening windows and doors in communal areas to let some air in as a little hot. Rooms have fridge, TV, towels, toiletries. All in all good value for money

The hotel is very new (only a few months I think) and there weren't many (or any?) other guests when I stayed, so it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was tasty and the kitchen was open whenever I wanted to eat or drink something. The location was amazing, I was walking everywhere in town from there and it is very convenient for both the bus station and the train station. Would absolutely stay here again if (when!) I come back to Jaffna.
