Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson collection hotel in Galle, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such a warm and genuine welcome that I immediately felt at home. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff at the hotel for making my stay so memorable. Your hospitality, attention to detail, and kindness truly stood out. I would also like to give a special mention to everyone at the Namikaze restaurant. Priyantha, Chaminda, Pawani, Odara, and Premeksha – thank you all for your outstanding service, friendliness, and care throughout my visits. You each contributed to making my dining experience exceptional. The food at Namikaze was absolutely scrumptious — every dish was a delight, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Thank you once again to the entire team at Radisson collection Galle, for a truly wonderful experience. I look forward to returning soon!

India1. We were three families, and would have preferred to be on the same floor 2. Limited options for vegetarians and Indian food - good options if you are an arab, south east asian 3. The property is new (3M old) so there are still glitches in the way systems work, room upkeep 4. The sea food restaurant seems futile and could be easily converted to a vibrant poolside bar 5. The beach view in the image gallery is misleading - the beach in front of the hotel is actually rocky and risky.
1. The poolside, the beachfront and fabulous views from the room 2. Breakfast although not a wide spread was very practical and well made 3. The staff at breakfast was happy to prepare Indian Vegetarian dishes on request (Poori Bhaaji, was exceptional) - big shoutout to the team : Sajani, Induwara, Madawi and Thushani 4. Overall a luxurious stay, no unnecessary frills - typical Radisson 5. A massive room upgrade, we were moved to an apartment

United Arab EmiratesHonestly it was close to perfect. If I am being picky, I would have added some cushions to the balcony furniture as it was uncomfortable.
The location is fabulous. Stunning views and just steps away from Wijaya beach to feed the sea turtles which was an amazing surprise. Only a few minutes from Unawatuna in a tuk tuk but away from the noise and bustle. The hotel is brand new and pristine and all of the staff were just wonderful. It was my sons birthday while we were there and they made such an effort to help us celebrate, the concierge staff were so friendly and helpful as were the housekeeping and reception. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back.

IsraelAs a new hotel, they still have a steep learning curve — in our specific hallway, there was no electricity, the main elevator had some issues, and the AC in our room was dripping a bit.
Brand new hotel with super friendly staff, beautifully designed high-tech rooms, and great food (the sushi is a must!).

United KingdomNothing!
Lovely new hotel. Very modern and clean. Pools were fantastic with plenty of sun-beds. Location was great with the hotel right on the beach, close to both Galle Fort and Unawatuna Beach by tuk tuk. Staff were wonderful and always happy to help. Breakfast was also very good with several a la carte options and we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant too.

United StatesInfrequent power issues, but not too troublesome. Perhaps a regional issue.
The hotel is quite new and very well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to accommodate all needs. The breakfast was great, and the restaurant staff would go out of their way to make any dietary request possible. The pool area is a nice design, and the staff were available to assist with any requests. A great place to relax, see a beautiful venue and enjoy the tranquility of the amazing views. Likely the best in class hotel/resort in Southwest Sri Lanka. Chaminda, Paurani, Jayahi, Supan, Odara and Pimeksha were excellent staff at the resort.

United KingdomWhile our stay was overall very enjoyable, there are a few areas for improvement. At check-in, there were quite a few staff at the front desk who appeared idle, which came across as a bit disorganized — perhaps just part of the early days of operation. There were flies in both the lobby and breakfast buffet area, which was off-putting and made me avoid the buffet. Communal areas like the lifts could be cleaner — mucky handprints and dusty corners took away from the luxury feel. Sunbeds were often left “reserved” with towels but went unused for hours, which wasn’t ideal. On one occasion, our room wasn’t cleaned despite us being out from 9am to 3pm — it took two calls and a wait in the lobby to get it resolved. Lastly, some finishing touches around the hotel could use attention — for example, one of the columns in the breakfast room already looked a bit shabby, which was surprising given the hotel’s only been open for two months. Most importantly — I would come back. The atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience made it a really enjoyable stay. With a few tweaks, this place has the potential to be outstanding.
We had a lovely time at the property! It's a new hotel and has a lot of potential. The beach and pool areas were beautiful and felt very upmarket — they really added to the experience. The dining spaces were stylish and elegant, and the à la carte breakfast menu was fantastic. Service from the restaurant staff was excellent — special shoutout to Pimesha, who was incredibly polite, attentive, and always had a warm smile. Housekeeping also did a great job, and we really appreciated the turndown service.

IndiaEverything was great. But the property charged me on my credit card that I used to reserve while booking on booking.com. When we checked at the property they said it was booking.com as we arrived they said they didn’t charge and it was booking.com that had to refund. We also paid for our stay with another card. I’m still battling this with both the property and booking.com..

HungaryWe had an amazing stay at the Radisson Collection in Galle. The property is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with breathtaking ocean views. Our room was spacious and opened up to the sound of the waves — pure bliss. The service was top-notch: warm, attentive, and professional. The food was also excellent, with a great variety of local and international options. We left feeling truly pampered!

United KingdomOverall very impressed with this hotel. Didn’t realise it only opened a few months ago when we visited. It’s very modern and beautifully designed. A few negatives listed below that could do with being addressed but given the beautiful pool area, service, and good wine prices I’ve still given it an 8/10 as I did enjoy the stay and would book again. Positives: - Room is beautiful and comfortable. Comfy bed, good AC, balcony overlooking the ocean. -On arrival your bags get taken to a security room for scanning while you check in. Unfortunately they then wanted my passport which was…. In my bag. This caused me to have to wait around for a good 15 minutes. Not sure how it was so slow. This needs to be sped up and if passport is needed inform people prior to taking the bags. - Restaurant and pool bar staff are outstanding, very attentive, drinks well priced (including wine at good prices which was a nice surprise in Sri Lanka based on my previous hotels). Seafood restaurant is absolutely brilliant though on the pricey side. Special mention to Hashan who helped serve us and the chef, Ruwan, for their very good service. - Pool/sun bathing area is near perfect, overlooking the ocean and able to walk directly into the ocean if you wish. Note the sunbeds are on sand / private beach area. Can get food to the sunbeds. Negatives: - A bit far from Galle itself. We found using uber or pickme that the drivers would often cancel after accepting the job as they didn’t want to go to that far. Reception offered to arrange a tuk tuk but quoted approx 3000 which is absolutely ridiculous. We found it best to just start walking and negotiate with tuk tuks that pull over to talk to you within a minute or two, usually paid 1000-1500 per trip. - Due to the position of the buildings, there is no direct sunlight at the pool area after about 3:30pm. The second pool area is a bit better for sun but has very few sun loungers - more here would be useful for this reason.

SpainIf I had to mention something to improve about the hotel, it would be that there were no hangers in the rooms. Having them would help with drying towels and bathrobes, reducing the number of times they need to be washed.
Our experience at the Radisson Collection Galle exceeded all expectations. The room, facilities, and food were exceptional, but what truly stood out was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly polite, kind, and helpful. A special mention goes to the amazing team at the restaurant—Sachini, Sajani, Pawani, Sajana, and Nirosha—who went above and beyond to take care of us and our baby. Their warmth and attentiveness made all the difference. Without a doubt, if we have the chance to return to Galle, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

PolandWhile traveling across the island, we spent a lot of time choosing the right hotel on the coast. Despite being a new property with only a few reviews, we took the risk – and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The hotel impresses on every level – from its thoughtful design and perfect location to the outstanding service that pays attention to every detail. The staff are not only polite but genuinely caring and attentive – we felt truly looked after from the very beginning. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Breakfasts are a real highlight – fresh ingredients, a wide variety of dishes, and, which is rare in Sri Lanka, genuinely good coffee. Evenings by the pool with perfectly crafted cocktails were the ideal way to unwind after a day of exploring. We’ve traveled extensively and stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world, and this one definitely ranks among our top favorites. It’s a place with incredible potential – we highly recommend visiting while the prices are still reasonable, as they’re bound to rise in the future.

AustraliaI was paying for service where I hoped to feel like my needs were not only met but anticipated. The hotel was new and I felt like the staff and management hadn't hit their grove yet. Cold water in the shower, items missing in the bathroom, staff not answering front desk phone, no compendium in the room, room service not answering phone and difficult to speak with (although very kind), general difficulties in accessing and receiving general service. Beach club as advertised was yet to get going, hence the component that comes with the additional atmosphere this would provide was missed (however this appears to have a lot of potential). I felt like value for money was missing.
Wonderfully beautiful setting. Location was a little tricky though as I was heading to Galle daily during my stay (however that was subjective to me) Staff were very kind.

IsraelThe staff has ZERO IDEA how to operate a luxury hotel. Waiters know nothing about the food they serve, have no idea how to speak to guests and more specifically they ruined the whole experience. This hotel is a soulless beautiful building full with people who don’t even bother to try to provide a bare minimum service.
The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, situated right in front of an ocean, has two beautiful restaurants and an incredible infinity pool facing the ocean. The breakfast was tasty with good variety and some healthy options.
