United KingdomThe hotel was in a great location and right on the beach. We had fun playing cricket with the hotel staff one evening. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was a little slow with food however not a big issue.

RomaniaFood was not great. Also, the big problem was the mould in the hotel, especially coming from the restaurant at first floor. Mould is a big problem at the hotel, there were rooms with walls full of mould. Luckily, our room had no mould as it was on the second floor, but the third floor was covered in mould and hard to breath.
The location was great, exactly on the beach, providing also sunbeds and umbrellas so you don't t have to pay extra for it. Beach towels were provided daily.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel has a slightly dank and musty aroma at times, probably due to the high humidity of the area, but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
This hotel is right on the beach which even in low season, is a beautiful location. We booked the two bedroom apartment for myself, another adult and 2 children. Beautiful, well furnished, well equipped accommodation which unfortunately leaked badly when it rained on the first night. Mr Sisira, the manager, dealt with the issue very well and we were transferred to two sea view rooms and provided breakfast too. Hotel staff were all excellent; polite and professional and always ready to help. All the meals we ate at the hotel were well presented and delicious, and good value for money. We would certainly return and recommend this venue for families or couples. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

SloveniaWhen we arrived the pool was nice, on the third day it became murky, the last day it was better again. Sometimes the bars on the beach have parties that go late in the night - not the hotels fault.
It was the last 4 days of our travel around Sri Lanka and it was the best way to end our trip. The location is beautiful, right on the beach. I think all the rooms have sea views. The rooms are very spacious, the air conditioning was perfect, not pointed directly at you when you sleep (we hate that). It is nice to sleep and listen to the waves. We also had dinner 2 times and it was wonderful - you have to try the Sri Lankan curries! The beach is nice, long stretch, lots of surfers, lots of bars. The waves are huge though, so be careful with kids - there is baywatch and they look very carefully and immediately tell you if you are "out of your way". A nice beach for swimming and snorkelling (safe) is Hikkaduwa Beach (5min with tuk-tuk) - I haven't seen so many fish in my life! They seem to have lots of weddings in this hotel and it was beautiful to watch all the lovely dresses.

Deluxe Sea View room: Great view of the sea and beach. Really spacious room. Staff were friendly. Kids liked the pool and they could move between both easily Easy enough to get a tuk tuk to more 'central' area which was literally 7 mins away.

Hong KongThe only problem is that we requested for a laundry service - our clothes were sent for laundry to the third-party perhaps. When the laundry came back, my wife and I checked the clothing items repeatedly and found that we lost a black shorts and one sock. We reported the issue to the receiptionist and we were promised that they wil look into it and get back to us the next morning. However, we didn't received any information on that. Nevertheless, we let it go since we had to check-out that morning. I guess the guests need to be careful and remind the hotel to check and return each and every clothing item as it is. The hotel, on the other hand, can constantly check with the laundry service provider and make sure all the clothing items are returned to the guests.

United KingdomNeeded repainting and general upkeep. Limited breakfast. Toilets and shower area by the pool need to be cleaner. Need ear plugs at night due to three beach bars (next door) have very loud music until 3am. They should provide ear plugs.

Other than these little things, we loved our stay here and made our stay in Hikkaduwa one of our favorites in our Sri Lanka trip.
loved its beachfront location and accessibility to restaurants both on the road side and the beach. although we were already very happy with their own restaurant so we didn't have to go that much to the others. Loved the seaview room option - although the rooms on the sides have some limitations compared to the bigger rooms in the middle of the floor. We also loved the bathroom in the room. The hotel is still relatively new (just 2019) and are still expanding with more afforable rooms (facing the road) Excellent customer service from check-in and during our stay. Downside though is no elevators, so better to just ask for help with luggages especially during check-out when they don't necessarily know when you're going down. they have the best stretch of beachfront i think with all their lounge beds in front that is free for use for all hotel guests. If ever you plan to repaint the building, I suggest make it white and blue (Santorini style) as it perfectly matches your brand - Refresh Blue! and it will definitely a big hit in the area :) Thank me later (and feel free to book my family a free stay haha)

EstoniaOverall the property needs some renovation. Pool is quite small and dirty. The pool area needs more sun beds and plants etc to make it more cosy.
The property was right on the beach with lovely dining area and comfortable sun beds to relax but the beach is not suitable for swimming due to the high waves. Still there are lots of opportunities to take surf lessons. Rooms were quite clean, but we booked 2 rooms next to each other and one of them really needed some renovation - walls were dirty and some cracks on them. It also smelled bad. Beds were comfortable tho. Location is very good, close to many dining and shops. Tuk tuk available all the time and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with different options of eggs, cereals, cheese, fresh fruit, tost, coffe/tea etc.

The location was great, right on the beach and close walking distance to plenty of shops. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 5am and they happily accommodated this late check-in and were fast to respond to messages. The rooms were comfortable and a good size.

Sri LankaThere was no lift/ elevator. So it was a bit of an exercise to get to the room. One hotel wing is in the last stage of construction. There were a few stain marks on the towels, which they changed after informing the housekeeping.
The location, location, location. It has a private beach with sun beds that are free for the hotel guest Friendly staff. The breakfast was epic (Nothing fancy but it exceeded my expectations)
