Good location, up on a hill. Close to the city centre, but in a very quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Very friendly and helpful hosts, tasty welcome drinks. We felt as a part of the family. Laundry service was okay (3000 rp).

Lovely home stay feel. Rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Wonderful views from just down the road, but the property itself is up a steep hill meaning we found it hard to get picked up in the morning! The walk to the bottom is only about 5 minutes though! Fantastic breakfast provided for an extra cost. Good value for money and we liked being a bit away from the busy vibes of the city!

Nothing . Maybe the optional guided tour (by a friend of hosts) was so worth it. The guide was non stop on the phone.

We felt immediately at home. The hosts were very friendly and playful with our children. They made us amazing breakfasts and dinner. Location is few minutes tuk tuk ride from town centre facing the jungle and… that is what you need after visiting noisy Kandy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The hosts greeted us with a refreshing drink made from tropical fruit grown in their own garden, which was a lovely touch. They also arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. The hospitality and attention to detail were truly appreciated.

I felt very safe, welcomed and comfortable at Resort Beam. It’s a very tranquil location with beautiful views as you arrive up the hill, but this did make it a little harder to come and go from. For me, that was worth it though. A plentiful home cooked breakfast!

We loved our stay at Resort Beam! The homestay is located a bit out of the centre, at the top of one of the surrounding hills which was perfect for us, and we loved the walk down to the centre each day through the neighbourhood. The property itself is lovely - our room was very spacious with a great bathroom and outdoor terrace. We especially loved the owners are spent some time chatting with their son who was really funny and very helpful during our stay. We would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house with nice garden. Really helpful and warm welcoming owners. Breakfast was delicious. Enough space in room, comfortable beds. We had everything we needed. It’s located on a hilly road but no problem to go anywhere by tuk tuk. We had great time there, highly recommended.

We were greeted with a tasty juice and incredible friendlieness. The host family made sure our stay was the best experience possible. The house is located in a quite area on a hill above kandy which is perfect if you want to leave the hectic and busy city behind you and prefere the soothing sound of birds to honking tuc tucs in the night.

A wonderful stay with a wonderful couple. The room is sparkling clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony and the breakfast is delicious. The house really felt like a home with lovely family pictures everywhere

A large spider entered the bathroom. The room's insulation could be improved. Taking a tuk-tuk to the city is recommended, but some parts of the journey can feel quite bumpy.

The view from the balcony was lovely, the room was spacious, and the hosts were welcoming.

The property was very good, it is in the mountain but it’s a short walk (around 10 minutes) to the centre. Nirmala made us delicious breakfast everyday, with fresh fruit, toast, eggs and a local dish. She also arranged a taxi for us, who showed us around Kandy for a small price. Nirmala and her family were so kind, we’ve enjoyed our stay so much!
