In general things are a little run down but they do their best at trying to fix any request. We had a problem with ac but the staff ensured the rest of our stay was comfortable.

The beach is beautiful and the restaurant food was great and very affordable menu options compared to a lot of other tourist hotel restaurants in Sri Lanka. The staff was the most friendly, kind and hard working.

The property is not very clean. We were probably assigned one of the worst rooms, dirty even though they had just finished making it up. In the bathroom there was a plastic knife on the floor probably from the previous stay and it remained there, also a piece of tile was missing. We used the laundry service and the next day we found our clothes hanging in the corridor of the rooms. We stayed on New Year's Eve and had dinner here at a higher price than what is served. I do not recommend staying here also because of the almost exclusive presence of Russian tourists.

The property is in a good location on the main road. The only positive note is the availability of the beach.

We booked a room with private terrace but when we got there we have been told that that was the room. Basically no private terrace but only a table with 2 chairs outside our door in a communal area, very far from the real meaning of "private"(see photos) Place is really dated and it's in need of urgent tlc.

It's right on the beach and you can use sun beds for free. It has a restaurant and a bar.

This hotel is not up to the standard for guests requirements. Sorry to see this type of hotel maintenance at Hikkaduwa which is very attractive city for tourism. Nad smell at the rooms and basic cleaning maintenance not done long time. Just sweeping and changing sheets and towels only.

Beds are not very comfortable. The water supply was not in top condition. Hot water cold water cannot balance as it should be.

The view of the sea in front of the restaurant is very beautiful. Nice suppotive staff, great location. We had salad, soup and fried rice.. food was really good and tasty but we ordered roasted potato but it actually deep fried potato slice. 😂 We had tea several times. It was exactly what I wanted. ❤ worth for the price ..

Food wasn’t that good. they could not properly serve a simple Sri Lankan breakfast, only when I reminded them they got the rest of what it came with.

it was supposed to be deluxe double room, not a chance !! dirty only 1 bulb working bathroom very dirty mirror full of grime we got change of towels and sheets after 4 days,and still not clean towels small and thread bearded was booked in till 7th week left on the 4th it was the worst hotel I ever stayed in ,not fit of animals they didn’t even offer a refund on 3 day we had left , this hotel should not be allowed on booking.com
