The room had quite a bit of damp - which might be unavoidable given the atmosphere - but the view was 100% worth it despite this.

The view here is AMAZING! The staff were also super super friendly, and the shortcut into town is very quick and absolutely fine at night. We were worried about leeches after seeing a few reviews, but we were fine after rain.

A little difficult to get to particularly when it rains.

Such a lovely little hotel with the most spectacular view from the balcony. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much, they will help you with all you could need. Hot water available when needed and toiletries provided. The most fabulous free breakfast provided. Hired a scooter off them for a very reasonable price and they took us to the train station in a tuk tuk.

There’s a very useful shortcut to the main streets but it’s a bit dodgy underfoot in the dark and wet.

Road to property quite tricky and didn't take our car down. Owner arranged a tuk tuk to transport our bags and found us somewhere to park. It was worth it for the views! Watch out for leeches on path to town.

we had lovely two nights and a wonderful time in ella. had a great breakfast at the hotel and a beautiful view of ella rock. our room had a mosquito net, which was very useful. staff was very helpful and happy 😊 unfortunately both mornings we were woken at around 7:00 due to cleaning noises (vibrating metal railings hit by broom) and loud music from the kitchen. beware the leeches on the footway shortcut to the main road, they really like to climb your feet (protection by long trousers put inside socks!)

Everything was fine. We made reservation in the same day but room was clean. Really good staff and breakfast. The location is perfect! We had ~ 1km do city centre. Not far away to Ella rock and little Adam’s peak. The most important is the view! Amazing! 🤩
