An calm oasis away from the hustle of town. Exceptional and friendly staff. Felt relaxed and at home in the comfortable room. Enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and the delightful refreshing pool. From Kumudu’s welcoming smile, the staff were always available and helpful. Highly recommended.

It’s a bit far from town, shopping, eating spots etc, so you’ll need a ride to go anywhere. However, the property is peacefully and beautifully located in nature. We had some issues with the air condition in one room, but the staff helped and moved us to another room.

Close proximity to the sights of Sigirya. The pool area is great after a long hike. The staff was very kind and the restaurant was great - we recommend trying the local curry.

Just the WiFi, maybe they have fixed it by now.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The place itself was really nice, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff were exceptional – friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The only issue we faced during our stay was with the WiFi, which wasn’t working properly. However, the hotel staff were transparent about the issue, explaining it was a problem with the data provider. To make up for the inconvenience, they allowed us an early check-in and even gave us a discount, which was a really thoughtful gesture. Despite the WiFi hiccup, the overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely return on my next visit!

It's a real resort. Only 12 rooms as separate bungalows, swimming pool and a restaurant. Very calm and close to the nature place. The service was great, as they allowed us an early check-in at 9 am instead of 2 pm. Would gladly spend more time there.

WiFi was non existent- kept blaming outside problem but you could tell that’s what they tell everyone . It made it hard as there was no 4g either so you felt rather isolated. There was also no comfy chairs to sit on outside the room or around the property - the bathroom needed a good deep clean as did the windows - the pool area was nice but the loungers were really uncomfortable. The restaurant was soulless as there was a big tv in it playing cricket. The waiter was very friendly though.

Nice hotel, so big that group are coming, you can see the rock, but almost 10 km far away by car.

Very little - though the breakfast wasn’t as good as others we booked - the restaurant favours a self service European buffet style with little choice on fruits etc -and instant coffee so we passed on the second day and headed into town

We had booked a spacious 3 bed / 3 bath villa - which was very comfortable and well appointed with a separate living room. The pool area was very nice and we liked the location which was a few kms outside of Sigiriya - but easy to get to by tuk tuk. Sigiriya itself is nice little back packers town with good local restaurants. All in all it was very good value and a good choice for a group of travellers

Hot water ran out quickly during peak periods so often showers were cool. Tv didn't work.

Staff were extremely helpful during our stay and went out of their way to help us with arrangements for onward travel and trip tuk tuk rides.

The hot water wasn’t working in our room for the day, but the staff accommodated us and helped us use another room to shower for the day.

The staff are all incredible and very helpful, particularly the people working at the restaurant and the front desk. The facilities were all amazing too, and location was nice and felt like we were in a forest but still very close to the Sigiriya Lion Rock.

Nice Hotel close to important sights for excursions. The staff was realy.Friendly especially Mahinde was always delighting the guests. You are in the middle of the forest so lots of sounds around you to enjoy.

Bed linen not very clean. Refrigerator still dirty. Laundry service was convenient but our clothes were not entirely clean afterwards. Television in the dining area is a bit crowded.

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Cosy garden and very nice pool. Spacious room. Great location near lion rock and pidurangala rock.

Very accommodating, very welcoming, very helpful with organizing transport. The food was great, especially the curry in the evening. Huge portions. You need to try the cocktails - Mahinda makes the best mojito! Also, the pool is nice too
